You are such a f***ing idiot. The campus police responded within less than a minute, and DeKalb police were there in less than three (according to one of my friends who goes there). You think that any university has metal detectors or people at EVERY doorway at the ENTIRE school? That is the only way to make sure that the students are more safe, and that can even fail. Most of the students I spoke with said that the school and community handled it very well.

I'm not an "idiot" or a "dummy" for forming and expressing my own opinions. When my children go to school, which is the LAW, I expect the LAW to take care of them and keep them from getting killed. No, they don't have home school, because I'm not a LEGAL teacher! Obviously, I'm law-abiding

I wasn't commenting on how long it took for the police to respond. Students are safe in the courthouse, at the airport, visiting jail inmates, why not be safe at school? There is no reason why schools are not safe for kids

@futureNavalofficer they handled it very well. in other cases like this, police and school were very late to stop the shooters.
