  • @VaultingandHorses aww! thanks so much! I'll be sure to tell him tomorrow! lol. As for the tail, he's pure percheron. While it's less and less practiced today the tradition is to "dock" (or cut off) a draft horses tail when they're born. This used to be because they were used for pulling and it would get caught, now it's just tradition. we don't do it to our horses we breed, but we bought this guy here (sam) when he was six, so it was already done. :) We're buying him an extension soon though!:)
