And for those that take offense to other's opinions, discuss why you may have a differing opinion but intelligently. Don't bash another series or the person who favors one different than yours. Guys, would you stop debating? Sure, I prefer Brotherhood/manga and think that the first anime really got screwed up in the end. But you know what? I still love it. Why else would I be here?

The whole "other side of the gate" junk just ruined the entire series for me, up until episode 50 I liked the series. Not to mention that Dante was lacking overall as a villain, she was basically just a loser that wanted to continue to live on forever.

If you think about it Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the first anime because It followed the manga, and we all any anime that follows the manga, well is the first. Full Metal Alchemist The Old Series, Arakawa said is to explain the REAL Story and it points out hidden Information. Other than that Fmab is the original because it follows the manga!

This song is the best ending song for FMA, it really does make you think about Ed , Al and others ^^ It's sad that it ended *cry*, but I still watch it again and again^^
I feel like crying ,cause it's so beautiful and it's the last ending theme of FMA (Not including brotherhood) And it makes me think of Hughs ,Nina and trisha and all the other people that have died.............
