@westernywildlife Thanks this was a truly wonderful sight, I have seen this flocking display many times with wader species it never ceases to impress. Most of these birds will be Scandinavian migrants that come to the UK to escape the harsher winters across the North sea
@richardclaxtoncni yeah it is! I got ya, thanks. They are killed here in the states and are concidered pests. Only 1 of 2 that are legal to kill. The other which I really hate is the HOPS (house sparrow) Very aggressive species.
Incredible footage but I hope they don't come in a horde like this to Canada!

Very cool! We get large flocks here, but not like this. As i know they usually fly in a group like this and it's amazing.

wonderful formations...one of them must be a great choreograph...its one bird per flock who decides the flight of the formations direction ^^
