There are only so many possible chord progressions that appeal to the market , and it just so happens that this is one of them . Honestly , a lot of songs sound similar mainly because the keyboard only has 12 notes before it repeats in another octave . not a lot of combinations . i feel that its the way they try to bring and carry the song rather than if the song is similar to another song .

both lady gaga and co-ed have their strengths and weaknesses . i like both telephone and this song .
