Keep dreaming.  It's more like 5.3-5.6 0-60mph. You will hear a ton of people say different numbers and all of that has to do with the conditions the car is run under. The Mach 1 is decent but nothing special at 305 HP.

my 04 ur so full of it man. i bet u dont have wat u say. my i bought a gto cuz i testdrove it and drove it home the same day...its not all about who got the best # its about liking the car for yourself. it is quiet inside. 6 spd. not the best looking i no that.smooth ride. and affordable for the average person who is looking for a nice sports car for daily driving that dont beat on u to drive it. and i did a 12.84 at 109... with slicks and a perfect launcg

lastly, yes some of the cobras had independent suspension but I was referring to the current cobra, which lacks an independent suspension, you have to get the 80,000 dollar KR if you want that.

I think it is funny that people are calling the sound compressor surge. They need to look at the kit. They do not realize the dump pipe on this car is actually the right tail pipe. That is why it is so obvious. Oh well

The right tail pipe is NOT the dump pipe. This car has a custom TWIN TURBO.  One turbo on EACH exhaust pipe. STS only makes a single kit for the GTO but this was a CUSTOM BUILD, CUSTOM PIPING.

I was mistaken on the video I was commenting on. I was referring to the single sts kit for the 05-06. I am sorry about that. Seeing how simple the sts kit, I can not image it being hard at all to bend pipe for the other side. Either way, very nice.

it sounds fine. u all dont realize that this GTO has a remote turbo system (STS). the turbos actually sit in the rear of the car and have pipes coming directly off the turbos. thats why the whining is so loud. also, when you let off the gas whatever you hear doesnt affect your engine because the blow off valve recirulates the air through the intercooler and intake pipes, the compressed air does not go through the throttle body until the throttle is open (on the gas)

Saxplaya07 you are correct. The reason the air going back into the turbo is bad is because the turbine blades spin at over 100k revolutions per minute and the air coming back into the turbo makes the turbo stop so fast that it cause that noise. If you want a mental picture imagine you are riding a mountain bike , and the wheels are wheels are the turbine blades. Imagine what happens if you are rolling at 30 mph and someone manages to throw a stick/pipe in between your wheel spokes .....ouch
