Lebron has better stats due to position (who else can guard him at small forward?) size, speed and athleticism. KOBE IS OLD AND LOST HIS STEP. Kobe is several years ahead of lebron. 3. Many people, NBA GMS (97%) and NBA players say they want kobe to take the shot, because he isnt scared too. Thats why his "Stats" are horrible in that matter.
