Lmao, I love hunting elk, aside from the great meat, the ivory is my favorite part, antlers... Lmao give me the ivory who cares about the antlers I want some white gold.
We being taxidermists, use just about everything! Cape, flat hide, antlers and ivories. The meat is better than beef in my opinion. I hear ya! White gold prices are going up. Thanks for the comment.
I really wish those "ivory teeth" were worth $350 each. Unless you meant $3.50 each-? Anyway, right now in 2011, the current rate for Ivory Elk Teeth (the whistlers) is $15 to $20 each. That is raw, cleaned up. Not capped or anything else. The price does fluctuate according to market demands. Anyone want to buy my collection? Thanks for the comment, --KIM
@TaxidermyOutdoors Oh no problem! Its always nice to see a good informative video and if you can offer some more then why not lol. Its heating up here as well. I live in Wyoming and hunt most of the winter! From what part of the country do you hail my friend?

The best way to polish them up, in my experience is a dremmel buffer! works like a charm and gives the buglers a nice peen finish!
