I went to these caves as a kid, remember it being pretty darn cool; took some pictures with a disposable camera, but destroyed the camera by accident ARRRGGGH, lost all the awesome pictures!!!
@FRDndsn Hey, I was wondering if you knew what was at the end of the cave, kind of a dumb question, but please reply if you can, thanks. And if there is a person who actually went all the way. Thank you!
That is still unknow cause there is a small passage way that humans cant get through but a small camera can and they say it goes faaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrr back
It was the 6th grade field trip and we went there. we took a 3 hour long tour and about 15 minutes later, I had to go really bad. I had to go in a water bottle and carry it through the rest of the tour. It was # 1 thank God.
I was young boy when my father took us there went through a small metal door walked down narrow stairs 1 mile. Showed us boulder that rolled on foot of bloodbrother and passed away there many centuries before. Had his body in another cave in glass case with small candle next to him my parents got upset at this, but he was buried some years later, beautiful caves, knew Kentucky meaning as dark blood=hunting grounds. Never been back now to old.

I've been in there so many times that I could give the Historical Tour myself and do it almost blindfolded.

Everybody should visit Mammoth Cave at least once. It really is one of the natural wonders of the world.
