  • ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿Y LA SEGURIDAD DONDE ESTAAAA??????????Y EL CASCO???

  • why didnt anyone move the car?

  • 1:51 is an example of a flashover. When all the products of combustion reach their ignition temperature and ignite all at once.

  • Were you insured?? I lost my house on 2-17-11. We all got out and thank god were insured.

  • Fucking ungrateful hippies. Your house is burning down and you look like you couldn't give a shit,

  • How about another line to put out the garage? smart guy in command at this fire i tell ya!im glad they could get a line over there after it was out...douche bags

  • How about another line to put out the garage? smart guy in command at this fire i tell ya!

  • its awesome, are you fucking kidding me, what you do, start it. what an ass.

  • hate to bash my fellow brothers, but this was a slack effort. lack of ppe on the scene. no helmet, no scba, jacket unbuttoned. come on guys, no matter whether your volunteer or full-time, act professional and not like some slob. if this was a full time, shame on you guys. chief, your firefighters are YOUR responsibility, make them put on there pep!! Above all else stay safe

  • @kingkong0189 I must agree. What were they thinking. With so many LODD each year why add to the chances of another. The white shirt was no better.

  • What ever did happen to the car? Did you save it, or did it melt? D:

  • They are spraying water, and electricity on the garage is still going???

  • Totally agree with all the other firefighters on here with comments about helmet and BA as i said above. Just totally irresponsible and dangerous.

Glad you sorted the house though dude :)

  • 5:49 - Where is that idiots helmet??????? I cant beleive his Station Officer is letting him get that close to a fully involved fire with no helmet on!! Jacket isnt done up either....its called Personal Protection Equipment for a reason!!!

  • @P999FFB I was nervously watching them without helmnets near the live garage wire.

  • Obviously a professional experienced department!! Great job!!!!

  • At 38 seconds I saw signs of smoke change and an interior attack. These are obviously very good agressive firefighters!! Great Job!!

  • why does it takes so long in the us to bring water to the fire? way too much time goes by since fd arrived

. (sry for the bad translation)

  • @djbeekay112 if you watch at 0:21 there is a stream coming out of the window towards the garage. looks like they got water on it pretty quick

  • Glad ya got through this ....take care

  • at 5:47 the firefighter made 3 mistakes.... 1,he should have a SCBA and a mask on (air pack and mask ). 2, there should be atleats 2 more guys on that hose line behind him. 3,he needs to zipper his jacket up and put proper gear on. Im not trashing this fire dept... i' just pointing stuff out that i saw..well..bye

  • @firewacker432 he should have an SCBA on his back but unless he goes in he doesn't have to put the mask on, and you only need 1 other guy on the hose, but otherwise your right, he needs to have his jacket buckled up and definitely a helmet, i know mine has helped me more than once from not only falling debris but heat as well...

  • Sorry to hear about your loss of both your house and car. Did you find out what the cause was?

  • Sorry to hear aobut your house and I hope your family is doing better. as for fire tactics, water was on the fire within 2 minutes of the video they pushed from the otherside of the house back towards the garage you can clearly see the steam out the window. The garage was a loss no matter when they got water on it so they saved what they could of the house. the guy on the 2 1/2 or 3 inch hose should have been dressed out as we all know.

  • 1:48 wow that was sick

  • You can see water from the interior crew within the first minute of the video. It's obvious that the first in crew entered from the unburned half of the house in order to cut the fire off and save what was not already burned. Pretty good tactic IMO.

  • 4 minutes into the video and still dont see an engine in front of or near the garage where this massive fireball is.

  • A good 360 by the first arriving Engine Company would have shown where the first line should have gone. Proper hose placement would have saved the garage and limited damage to the house.

  • i presume your not a fan of the way the states deal with fires than ???...i cant believe how they cut into the roof with angle grinders..as you know heat rises the ceiling gets weaker and the obvious is gonna happen...crew members falling threw the roof..we dont put crews on roofs specially if its a factory etc...

  • my house cout on fire the same day yours did

  • thats why in the uk..we are all trained..the same and each brigade does the same training as the next brigade..thats why we dont have many fatalities in the uk fire service..cos we are all trained to the same high standard...no one climbs a ladder without it being footed we allwear harnesses if we are working off of aladder .we have scba procedures.. where everybodys movements is known all the time.. each ba controller has a board with all its wearers on..and knows what .time there due out

  • im a uk firefighter..and i cant believe that it takes 5 mins to get water on the building u guys are so slap dash ..the firefighter on the jet isnt even rigged up in his fire kit properly..no helmet... tunic undone no BA..thank goodness the english fire service isnt run like this..

  • @wausau47 They had water on the fire around the 2:15 mark, you can see the steam push out the window. My guess is that there was an exposure on the B side of the fire building. As for the guy on the 2 and half he should have been in full ppe maybe not on air but at least have the mask on and ready to go. I also don't know why he tried to operate it without looping and sitting on it. Every fire department operates differently so please do not label all US departments by this video.

  • Yeah the difference between US firefighting 'methods' and the rest of the world is 'truely amazing' Prime examples: UK Oxford street fire video (You Tube search): First arriving pump has water on fire in under 2 minutes, visible fire knocked down in under 4 minutes.

US fire crews would still be working out what hoses to use, and ventilating, allowing the rapid spread of the fire they're their to put out. But hey that's the way they're trained and it's the way it's always been done.

  • I like the little firework show.

  • what happend to the car?

  • The sparks mean that the power is live so did they turn off the power before starting a hand line.

  • that wasnt 2 1/2 ass clown thats probably 5 or 6 " and that ff was more than likely the driver/ pump operator. obviously you have no clue what your talkin about

  • @133ff26 At the end the same guy (I think) comes back with a 2 1/2. Not masked up, no helmet, gloves are on his jacket and his jackets not even closed. Why bother putting the jacket or bunker pants on? He should have all of his PPE on even for a defensive. And there definitely should have been a second man on that line, though i know its hard to come by man power in volunteer company in the middle of the day. He should have at least anchored himself.

  • @133ff26 if he was the driver or pump operator than he shouldnt have been on the line, because if someone needed another pump open he wouldnt be there, so he shoudnt of been on that line if he was driver or pump operator.... and i like how other firefighters show up with the proper PPE after hes done and hes not wearing the proper PPE

  • @133ff26 obviously you dont know much shit either, even if he is a pump operator or driver he still should have been wearing all the proper PPE.

  • they better say byr to their car

  • @AmazingAipom we did ...

  • not only was it in the fully developed flashover stage but with that faulty electric wire it makes the area unsafe so until Utilities are under control defensive attack

  • FIREWORKS (:

  • Defensive fire, no need to enter the dwelling until it is safe. . .

Everyone is out, and the fire is past stage II.

As for the car, Should have been saved by moving the car b4 fire got out of hand.

  • @djgloverv Asleep during the early morning; by the time I realized the house was on fire, it had spread from the ktichen down the living and was in my room already. I got my family out and by the time they were safe across the street i tried to run back in to retrieve the keys, but smoke was so intense i couldn't breathe. I tried using my shirt but it wasn't helping any. Couldn't find any of them

  • @cabp2004 how did it start? Very sorry for your house.

  • I know what it was like. It happend to me 7 years ago.My two pet dogs died in the fire.

But things are better now.I was only 4 back then.

  • im sorry but really dude? the garagge is burning and collapsing and i hear "oh that looks awesome" "oh look the garage is gonna collapse, oh look there it goes!!" that is not something to be excited about....anyways i am extremely sorry for your loss

  • @Tcook96 Yeah .... that was my younger brother. he's not all there lol he's kinda crazy like that and well .. i'll leave it at that...

  • I am very sorry for your loss, I hope everyone is doing well.

  • Cars only blow up in movies.

  • No helmets, no scba, no gear.......lame. Lamest fire attack I have ever scene.....Apparently this department doesn't have a safety officer.

  • @rmls34 i know this was 7 months ago, but why would the fire fighters tire themselves out when there defensively fighting the fire... Thats just plain stupid, because they will all be tired once the offensive starts...

  • @rmls34 are you a FF???

  • Comment removed

  • what was the cause?

  • faulty electric outlets. and that's b/c the night before we had called the freakin owner and told him that one of the plugs had sparked out and this happened the next morning ... sux

  • fire fighter pulls a 2 1/2 inch line off the back of the engine and why is that fire fighter not have a scba on and masked up all ways have a scba on and be masked up on a working fire

  • dunno man, i honestly think if they had gotten their sooner than 20 mins after we called, that car would have made it.

  • @cabp2004 it really took 20 minutes for a response??? how far away is the station? Also my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family who were struck with this tragedy.

  • @1stresponder1 20 minutes may sound bad but its a harsh reality. From the time the 911 Center gets the phone call it could take up to 5 minutes to process it. If this is a volunteer Fire Department it could take up to another 5 minutes for them to respond from their homes to the station. Then from the station to the house it could very well take 10 minutes. 20 minutes is a very realistic time frame.

  • @cabp2004 If it took 20 minutes for the fire to get to that point, why didnt anyone just jump in the car and move it? Please tell me the keys were inside the house

  • @cabp2004

Is your town big?....20 minutes is a long time.

Hope your all good now after this.

    DG

  • @stevenkimball I was thinking the same, and i dont think he has gloves on and his gear isnt buttoned up right. What fire department was this and where?

  • @stevenkimball yes, i cant believe seeing him with out an scba, helmet and masked up, what an idiot. you never do that with out an scba or masked up

  • @stevenkimball he doesn't need PPE, he's a firefighter, he's the hero here, remember? ;) There's no chance he could ever get hurt, let alone get cancer

  • @pratt7288 he doesn't need ppe are air pack on on to fight the wow what a great answer pratt 7288 and i was wondering are you a firefighter

  • @pratt7288 BS! He was right next to the fire source (the room in the house that was on fire) with a crew in the house operating with heat, smoke, and a high pressure water jet coming out the windows!

Then there's the fact he was directly under the live arcing power line to the house!

BTW Dont US power companies believe in (have installed) pole fuses on street power lines? (so any power problems/shorts to houses cause the pole fuse to disconect the power)

  • @stevenkimball Why? your not going in, obviously. save it for when you need it. Now, if you are gonna be in a smoke condition, then by all means USE IT. But for the sake of saving energy, stand back and lob water on.

  • @bc firefighter 3 better to be safe then not be safe brother I'm smarter then you think i am i always have a scba on and I'm masked up at every working house fire no matter if it's a defensive fire are not i still would be wearing a scba and be masked up if i was that guy

  • @stevenkimball You must be from up north then...down here its so hot its unsafe to pack out for fires like this, The heat will put your ass in the back of the ambulance quick.

  • @stevenkimball if your standing outside pulling SUPPLY line to hook to the hydrant... you dont need to mask up. no smoke no mask. outside no mask, standing at the pump panel? no mask
