@AndyCarnage They did in the third episode when Sven was captured/killed. They didn't have a choice since they did not have a pilot for blue lion. They killed the robeast be knocking it into a volcano with red lion because it could survive the lava.

Pidge scared Lotor & Hagar off with a Grenade. The others then, "finished the job" shooting at them.

BTW, the episode you were thinking o, where Sven was injured by Hagar was #6

i always hated how shows like this always marginalized the main villain to nothing more than a tool to something bigger. Dont get me wrong, i love Voltron...but i prefer to pretend that King Zarkon is the only bad-ass. Same thing they did with Lord Zedd and the power rangers... :(
