Donna has by far been my favorite companion. She was witty, sarcastic, and empathetic all at the same time. She and the Doctor had the perfect relationship...no pressure to be lovers, just the very best of friends. They knew they could 100% count on each other. Having her memory wiped of the beautiful friendship she and the Doctor shared is more heart breaking to me than Rose and the Doctor.

i think everyone is speculating that Donna is going to be bad because she is a time lady. that she wears the Master's ring later on in series 4, and that she is supposed to turn into the Master in series 5 and they have to kill her/the Master. Not sure how Donna got the ring in the first place, but that is what the general speculation is for her in the fifth series with the end of David Tennant as the Doctor.

One of the most gut wrenching parts of Donna's story was when she threw herself under that truck, she really had no guarantee that it would have changed anything, she really just had to trust the Doctor and Rose completely, that she would survive.

That hug at the end of Midnight is also another of my favourite moments. the Doctor looks so vulnerable, and Donna just understands straight away, the sympathy in her face is just perfect.

I just watched the two part finale today for the first time.

Sometimes I think I am going a bit nutty, crying so much over a tv show.

I didn't think Donna would work out, but she won me over in no time. She was just so *real*.

I so wish he didn't have to take her memories away. It was heartbreaking.

On all the four series, this is the one that makes me cry the most. I mean, the one with Rose (series 2) was very sad, but at least she remmebered all the amazing things she'd seen and done, the way it changed her...but Donna, she come back as a temp, and she will never know how fantastic she is. And it was great to see the Doctor with a friend, best friend, just friend.
