@greatdanehenry Which parts is it apparent? I can't see the blonde guy on the left struggling or anything, or perhaps I missed it. Can you please show me some parts where it is obvious?
I don't know why, but when I was a kid I used to envision F-16s soaring through the air whenever I'd hear this on the radio; especially the sequence beginning at 0:27 This song was apparently released 10 years before F-16s went into service, so it's definitely not related other than in my crazy mind.
@npspec34 No cell phone from 2006 has a camera with quality this good. Not even cell phones today have quality that good. This was taken on a regular camera.
@npspec34 that is someone with a very steady filming hand and runs around the seats to get multiple shots then... the fact that you can hear the acoustic flawes of the room means it's very good quality
Fantastic song, but am i the only one that thinks the drum piece is a little TOO loud at the beginning? its a fantastic song but i feel as if the whole orchestra was drowned out by the drums.
Sounds like a lot of bands I've been in. The drummer drowns out everybody so they turn up and pretty soon the singer can't hear anything, then it sounds like a bombing mission from WWII and then the dog starts wailing and the cops come because the neighbors called them about the noise.
Great song!!!..buuut just to joke on th side mason williams looks like a mdiget in this video everybody is sitting reguar chair position except him..he is like in baby high chair!!.lool....just joking..all fun..and Great song..love it..
My husband is a protege of Mason's. Check out his stuff. Search for Sinai 48 on youtube, and also itunes, amazon and wherever else you can search! My husband also does an AMAZING version of Gas.
i agree with anoreo... after spending the last (i wont say how long so i dont make a fool of myself) but ive spent a long time learning it and i do think that Mason's origional is such a beautiful piece of music... shame on anyone who says TE's is better. it is good tho... im not denying that
Its good, but Tommy Emmanuel has completly blown him out of the water with his cover, I know Mason Williams actuallt WROTE it but Tommy has given it all that more life.
I have played this song for over 30 years but after hearing Tommy Emmanuel's version of this tune I have to say you are right. TE has added new life to the most famous guitar solo ever written.
this guy so totally pawns his counterparts .the blonde to his left can't keep up and its' s apparent .

The sound is way off,
but is probably filmed on a cell phone.
Would love to see the original that used to air on The
Smothers Brothers in 1968.

Mason Williams will always be my favourite...Tommy Emmanuel is good but Williams is brilliant and the mastermind behind the piece anyway.

I bet that one violinist loves being about 4" away from a full drum kit... having her hearing damaged for what could only be a few dollars.

Wish I could download this talent into my brain so I could enjoy being creative and expressive via the Classical Guitar.
Esteban is a favorite of mine.
