Im happy to see that the Spirit of the 60's of real rock n roll is still going after all the pieces of new crap surrounds our music today -.-... Iam also making musics with a friend similiar to the songs they made back then...Cooool song :p
very sweet on the ear, nice to hear that another picks up the legacy of jim.
do nt worry if they say ur not a rocking jim like "five in one" ,if "they"only new who actually written five to one, they would nt say such things.
since everybody state an advise to you,i will do the same,i will say the same as in thoses days ; sweep them of there feet, lead them around the church, pad them on the back and take them home!
u seem ok for the laid back repertoire (crystal ship, indian summer,...) but u don't fit the blues and rock numbers (five to one, maggie mac gill,...)
@itnow yeah I would have to agree. My soul more resembles the poetic Jim versus the hard rocking Jim. I am trying though ...but I am who I am. thanks.
I feel as if spirits of 'god-men' can be poured into me, filling me, and so in you Joe, I see what I see, as I too see.

man I should be the one to subscribe your channel :)) hey JIM your alive!!! man I'm also a Jim Morrison fan and I have compositions that are really poetic gotta upload them soon...
I've watched this video several times since yesterday, and I think it's just awesome. Your vocal style does remind me so much of Jim Morrison's. I'm proud to say that I've been a Doors fan sice childhood. Thank you Joe--you sound incredible , and you bring back many great Doors memories!!!
I knew you'd enjoy it. I've loved the Doors since my cousin introduced me to their music when i was nine years old. The Doors were hot then. They'll always be timeless. That's why I'm glad that Joe helps keep their music alive.
Thanks for the video. I was just 12 when Jim left this world. he was and always will be a man/poet that i wish to emulsate myself if just a little that will be cool. Thanks Frankie of Boston
No I did not say I disliked this,in fact I do like this and have saved it,you did a great job with "To Close to the Sun"I have saved it so I can listen to it again and again! Thanks for the tune looseconnection.
thank YOU everyone for listening, watching and commenting. I felt this song wasn't getting enough attention. I love the fact it's a collaboration between me and Ray. It seems to be getting some now!
I'm reading a number of negative comments on this.
No he not like the first rush you got from doing the orginal sonic drug of Doors, But he's putting it out there and living the Dream and would Mr. Morrison himself not tell us all to live now, because Life is short enough?
Take a pill and chill. You might find what most of us are enjoying here.
Music is cheaper than Therapy, and this loose connection is more connected than most of us.
yep. I didn't get that you disliked it at all. And yes, Music's Over as well as the End, inspired the structure. I'm glad someone noticed that. By beginning & ending with the same stanza, improvising in the middle etc. I did try to leave it sparse, as the song is an instrumental with some great solos.
too close to the sun...its true, we are all on fire, burning in the sun... cant wait till the end... you actually look like jim, and sound like him too...baring in mind you are you, a loose connection...knows the truth...thank you for sharing your sound man...peace, love and light
