1. Multiplayer= Horribly unbalanced (Commando for starters). Sure, if you're the one who have these overpowered perks or weapons, it's fun but for people who try to play without them, it sucks and we often die while they rack up the points
2. Singleplayer= Fun but way too short.
3. Story= Confusing with many plot holes and only served to get us from different locales.
Not a bad game, i would give it an 8-8.5 but really really overrated by the game industry and Modern Warfare 2 fanboys.
You can try searching up Commando vids on youtube, there's players who suddenly leap at you from a far distance, giving you no time to react. It's like once you're a meter and a half away from him, it's game over for you, he'll lunge at you at an amazing speed and won't miss even in mid air. Hell, sometimes, while in mid air, he is able to lunge another meter towards you... what the hell!??!?
Again, MW2 isn't a bad game. It's just the people who abuse the abilities in multiplayer :/

I never said that gaming is only for the hardcore, but I believe there are good reasons for why MW2 won: the score (music) really pull you into the game, they make you a part of the characters; the graphics are extremely realistic; the multiplayer is unbelievable; the weapons give a fantastic war sensation.

Lol, quite the opposite of what you just said. I was in the MAG Beta for two months, and it had zero lag, other than the extremely occasional hiccup. MW2, on the other hand, is a lagfest many times, thanks to the crap peer-to-peer connections.
Modern Warfare 2 definitely deserved to win, even though Uncharted was a great game and had a very good storyline, Modern Warfare 2's storyline, although short, kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time, and was incredibly fun every step of the way, and part of what makes a great game, is that its story line is fun. The multiplayer is epic, and unlike Uncharted 2's, it will be played for a long time to come, and is limitless fun.
Finally, someone else who loves MW2 and can make an actual argument besides "OMG MW2 IS THE PERFECT GAME IT SHOULD HAVE FUCKIN WON EVERY OTHER GAME SUX". I applaud you.
AC2, Uncharted 2, MW2 were all the best games of the year. They excel at their own things, and people who bitch about either 3 need to chill out. Unless they were part of the crew that created one of the games, I don't see the necessity of trolling about another game.

sure it is, just that the graphics make it look a bit less serious, it's sort of like battlefield with the graphics, but battlefield is, on the other hand, just as hardcore as MW2.
I never said that gaming is only for the hardcore, but I believe there are good reasons for why MW2 won: the score (music) really pull you into the game, they make you a part of the characters; the graphics are extremely realistic; the multiplayer is unbelievable; the weapons give a fantastic war sensation.

Winner: MW2, Why? Because U2's final boss was TOO FUCKING EASY! Sure, MW2 had a short campaign but remember, they want you to spend time on Multiplayer too. Besides, they ran out of epicness. U2 had a simple boss. Even of Crushing difficlty.
MW2, OMG! Try Veteran, When you start the game it has 4 fucking notices aying "Are you sure you want to Try Veteran difficulty?" "Its extremely hard" excetera. Nuff said.

Lol, quite the opposite of what you just said. I was in the MAG Beta for two months, and it had zero lag, other than the extremely occasional hiccup. MW2, on the other hand, is a lagfest many times, thanks to the crap peer-to-peer connections.

Modern Warfare 2 definitely deserved to win, even though Uncharted was a great game and had a very good storyline, Modern Warfare 2's storyline, although short, kept me at the edge of my seat the entire time, and was incredibly fun every step of the way, and part of what makes a great game, is that its story line is fun. The multiplayer is epic, and unlike Uncharted 2's, it will be played for a long time to come, and is limitless fun.
