I have the same gun almost, unfortunately they call it a street legal version with only 10,000 rpms. It weighs almost 6 lbs though. Its a little quieter then the big brother model, but another draw back is it is forward port exhausted so brake dust and debris gets shot back out of the rim at you. Still a sweet gun, the pit crews I have heard use nitrogen instead of compressed air, but that's just what I have heard. Sweet video Tommy

HOLY MOTHER ****I had to watch this 5 times to believe that wasnt sped up (and it isnt). the gun is at full speed and the nuts are spun so fast they fly off while he's already done the nut before hand, it flys off after the 2nd is turning

I don't really care for nascar much... I much prefer F1 and GT1 and GT2 races... because there are more than just left turns... haha... but these crews are ridiculous... not just these guys... but the engineers who set up the suspension, managers of the crew... people who call nascar and individual sport are just ignorant

Nobody really manufacturers them to sell, teams make the themselves out of old hubs that have out-lived their life on the car. You could get used hubs from second hand retailers, but they tend to get pricey. But check on ebay and craigslist, once and while they pop up.

actually, if you watch a F1 Pit stop, there can be as many as 25 pit crew members already over the wall, and they surround the car while it is in the pits. Also there are 3 men on each tire in F1. 1 has the air gun, another has the new tire, and the thrid takes the old tire. That is 3 people per tire as well, 12 total. NASCAR has only 7 crew members over the wall, and 1 tire changer and carrier who works on 2 tires. So nascar has 4 members working on the tires. F1 has 12. Just watch the videos.

well to be more specific, there is a changer and a carrier in nascar, im not sure how f1 does it but i know its one lug, nascar hubs are 5 lug and cup changers can hit 5 lugs in roughly 1.8 seconds average.
