  • I just lost my boxer 2 days ago. Yes I am extremely sad, But I feel very lucky to have experienced the loyalty and infinite abundance of love he had to give. He was disabled from six months old due to a bone disease as a puppy and a resulting locked front left elbow joint, But we chose not to give up on him. He survived until recently when we have had to let him go to sleep due to prostate cancer and I miss him so much. People told me boxers were stupid, He was so very clever. Great job!!

  • RIP JAKE

  • Boxers= RAD dogs! I love mine! as crazy as they are...

  • Handsome boy. Great job!

  • everyone i talk to whom have owned boxer dogs have either had to have their dog put down..or their dog just misteriously drops dead from a heart attack!

Boxers must be prone to disease or something!

  • My boxer Dante, died Nov 25 (the day before Thanksgiving) 2008

  • my boxer jake died march,14,2006 ):

  • Boxers- You , as a Human, GOT that dog. I grew up w/ a 'Princess', 13 years. The Most Wonderful Dog, and Friend.

You, Sir: Got it Right. Loved. Shared. Loved. Bless YOU, and a big hug towards your next animal- You are What Should Be.

  • my boxer dog jack died last year in july

  • my dog died just recently. I found him dead when i came home from work. I had to burry him like that in the back yard. that guy was stiffining allready so he must have died just after i left.

  • thats realy sad i commit cuicide if my dog die'd

  • I'm so sorry that you lost Jake. It's obvious that he had a great life with you.

  • i also had a dog that was put down i got two new ones

  • I had a white boxer called Morgan who was put to sleep in October. It felt like losing a member of the family.

I've had dogs before, so no-one really understood why losing Morgan caused me so much grief. Eventually I was consoled by fellow boxer owners, and I realised that it is because only we have been privelaged enough to experience the beautiful nature of these dogs, and their colourful personalities. I still suffer a great loss, but in time I've just realised how privileged I've been.

  • nice dog!!!! boxers are the best dogs!

  • lmao nice dog :P

  • First off, wow!! Awesome dog!! Second, how did you get him to be so damn big? What did you feed him during his first year?

  • They dont fill out until 3 years old. I just fed him James wellbeloved. I dont think it matters what you feed them. Some Boxers are Small some are big.

  • Regarding size, I've had 5 boxers. The largest was half German from a breeder in New Jersey and he was was about 90 lbs of pure muscle. The smallest was about 50 lbs. They were all male.

  • This must have taken practice. Boxers aren't the easiest dogs to train. Not the smartest breed, but smart enough to be sassy and stubborn.

  • this video is sad for me cus i had a boxer dog that looked just like him except his ears were cropped or whatever its called and his name was jake was his weight size just wondering when did u get him cus my Jakey died in october maybe its him =)

  • Sorry to hear about your Jake. I got him about 5 years ago.

  • aww cute dog you want to teach my dog those tricks lol. I tried but she won't speak. She'll sit pretty, lay down, shake with both hands, high five, she just won't speak.

  • my do looks the same except hye has a white tipped tail

  • wow i used to have a boxer, i had to have it put down, they are so lovly

  • Yeah they will do anything for food!! what a greedy bunch!! but to learn all this tricks take time - and deternimation from the owner!!Well Done!

  • I had a boxer. great dog's

They will do anything for a treat.

  • my dog can begg :p

  • boxer dogs are the most clever dogs..i have one and i know what i'm talking about

  • thats a lovely dog

  • What a sweet baby!

  • I <3 Boxers. Had two and they had the most amazing personalities. I miss them both :(

  • my boxers name is Jack to!! :-)

  • i hope you ment to spell Jake.(catch phrase time) lololololollooolololololololololololololololololoololololololololololololololo...l

  • you have trained him well, how did u teach him so many tricks?

  • Nice dog man, very clever :P

  • lol i like it when he plays dead

  • my 2 boxer, boy and girl.

the boy is just plain stupid and follow just about anything..but the girl is very stubborn!

When i said to the girl SIT!!!..

the boy sitdown and the girl stare at me with that innocent blank look!

The boy knows that if he sit, he will get cookie! but the girl is no dog at all! she just won;t listen!!

    Gorgeous dog!

  • lollz get a doberman or weimaraner no one will come near u

  • a weimaraner?? lol. right because they are just terrifying....lol.

and trust me, a boxer will actually keep the freaks away.

  • dude are you naive? no you dont go to jail if dogs attack a stranger thats about to kill you like a gangster or a break in maniac. once it happen to me and my dog attacked the stranger and he winded up to a hospital prison. are you fucking retarded?

  • chill out foooooooo

  • chill out foooooooo

  • You need a pit bull or a rotweiler. Boxers are very lovable dogs, yet protective of their owners and familes but LOVE to play too much. They're hyper too

  • lol thanks for the tip mama ,i used to have a boxer and he was protective but daz true they hyper and playfull

  • that dog is dope

  • aww really cute and gorgeus(spelling?) very smart too

  • Your dog is beautiful.

    Very well trained.

  • My Boxer does tricks too. You try to train him, he lies down and snores. You try to train him, he looks at you:"I'm not going to bust my furry behind for ONE lousy little dog treat." Offer him a box and he performs. Smart Boxer.

  • Could you tell me how you tought him the Speak "trick" ?

  • great!! bt was he eyeing at ur tidbits or looking into ur eyes?

  • YOUR DOG IS ADORABLE

  • FUCKING LOVE IT - 5 STARS

  • boxers rock and so does boxer luv resque

  • please tell me how you got your dog to play dead. it the one trick i can't seem to teach mine. he is 7 months old. you did a really nice job abd your dog is beautiful. thanks for sharing

  • My boxer will back straight up like a horse with me twitching my finger, and runs up the road a thousand feet to poop in the ditch then runs back home 1' on the road and looks over his shoulder at vehicles " like what's you looking at". He learned that on his own and never goes farther on the road then what a jogger would. Too cool to watch, and I hope he never forgets to be careful by the road.

  • I think dogs, especially the larger breeds, respect their owners more for using a firm tone. It fits their personalities. Hats off to you and your Boxer. I have one myself, and although my girlfiend babies her, Cleo (my dog) and I are much closer because of the training we do together. These are big dogs, and left untrained can be extremely wild. I just love the breed. Yours is very nice.

  • Thanks alejandro15187. You are right, these dogs do need a firm but kind owner, thats when they feel most happy.

  • i can have my boxer do that with out military direction

  • good for you!

  • i tought my 4 month old boxer to play dead in 3 days. they r really smart dogs, n fun to be with..

  • Hi. You have a great dog. My husband and I are looking into getting a boxer, and I was wondering if you trained him yourself, or had him trained. Either way, how quickly would you say he learned???

    Thanks!

  • aww...my dog knows how to do most of that stuff 2!! :)

  • og what an awesome good boy !!

  • thanks a lot i appreciate that chepstow. can wait for him to fill out.

  • your boxer is actually good? wow... mine is always bad... if you click my name theres a video of her to prove it

  • anybody know why my 4 month old boxer is so skinny? he eats constantly but doesnt gain weight. had him taken to vet and checked for worms. he seems healthy, just skinny

  • Yes, its nothing to worry about, the boxer in my video was the same, but started to fill out aroung a year.

  • Mine was still skinny at eight months but and stayed cut but put on size and weighed 75 lbs as an adult. Giv it all the food it wants and scraps too and if like mine he still eats his dry food too. Great dogs!

  • he's awesome, i love him!

  • Aww he looks like my boxer, but a lot more clever!!! hehe

  • Jake is amazing. How long did it take him to learn all of those things? He is beautiful God bless him.

  • That dog rules!

  • This Boxer is so pretty nice markings. Did you get him from a private breeder? I would like to have one like him. I would like to know the breeder's phone #.

  • He is gorgeous and very intelligent, i think i need to teach my boxer some more tricks now but she has a very short attention span. LOL

  • wHAT A BEAUTIFUL BOXER....HIS MARKINGS ARE EXCELLENT...I WANT A BRINDLE LIKE THAT AND A FAWN.

  • Very cute dog. =) you can see my boxer on the vid i posted

  • Dude that's a big dog! Very smart :)

  • well.... the dog can spin, sit, speak, play dead and shake. Not remarkable Im afraid, but i do give credit for being well trained. My boxer is 4 months old and can do everything but shake... hes too busy eating! LOL

  • I didnt say he was remarkable!

  • No need to get upset.. hes a lovely dog..very well trained. You Brits need to relax.. LOL I certainly didnt mean anything disparaging.

  • Damn! He's good.

  • HA HA! You have evidently spent time with your dog, something most people don't do and wonder why the dog acts in a way they don't agree with. I have an Amstaff that I trained to obey hand signals from a distance. He is older now and tells me to piss off. I don't mind because he is still a good dog and my buddy. Any dog is this easy to train if one takes a couple of hours out of their day to do so. They are like kids and want their master to do so.

  • yes i agree, it is easy to trian a dog if you have been shown correct and kind methods.I also think you have to be interested in dogs and be disaplined with your training. By the way what is a amstaff is it a american dog?

  • Amercan Staffordshire terrier. He is a dog of long years in this country yet hails from the Staffordshire bull terrier from Enlgand.

  • are boxers nice?

  • Yes boxers are lovely dogs but need training as they are very boistrous. They are very good with children and a good guard dog. If you dont have the time to spend with these dogs for training and play then dont get one.

  • oh. I have all the time in the world! lol. are they good with little dogs?

  • not sure it all depends on how the little dog is with other dogs. if you get a boxer puppy and bring it up with the little dog it should be ok.Boxers are very playful and could unintentionally hurt a smaller dog, i would just kepp an eye on them at all time at first.

  • oh. I don't think a boxer might be the right dog for me. My cairn terrier is pretty feisty. And my corgi/pit is a little aggressive too. lol.

  • Wow, I have a female fawn boxer, she can "sit" and that's it lol. Still, such wonderful dogs. It seems that know what you're feeling.

  • nice and beautiful dog

  • NICE CAMERA

  • Im in love, what a great guy that jake. good job on that training. My princess is good a sitting and jumping, and snuggling.

  • Your Boxer dog is well clever! I wish mine was as clever as yours! Oh and he is Very cute!

  • Your boxer puts mine to shame. All mine can manage is a shaky sit and lay down command.

When she feels up to it, she can shake too. But she never feels up to it.

  • like this dog like your boxer is butiful and smart

  • god i have a boxer ( male ) and his name is gizmo haha and most people are scared if boxers but there good with kids and there so fricken buitiful!

  • Good job training! These dogs are the absolute best. So does he chew the couch and make you feel bad for him when you get home?

  • no he is very good, when i go out i just leave him with a KONG stuffed with some goodies

  • u ever put peanut butter in the cong watch them try and get at that sooo funny

  • lol very good idea

  • Very well trained!! Amazing! Beautiful dog!!! :)

  • Beautiful Boxer and so well trained. I just lost my male Boxer and I trained him like you have. We went to school and it was so much fun. They are so intelligent. Your Boxer is Gorgeous. Nice Job!!!

  • Very cute boxer. And very smart also.

  • thats not a boxer its a freaking horse

  • Nice boxer, smart. I have a female 2 1/2 YO fawn, she's one of the smartest dog's i've ever seen. Her uncle is used to teach police dog's.

    Boxer's rule!

  • Jeezus, hes pretty big for a boxer isnt he?

  • lmao imagine that dog runnig after you..!! ^^

  • funkinhell...that dog is a CHAMPION!!!!! i <3 doggie woggiz but i ay got one cz my parents wow let me get one=[

  • good, but ... not wonderful it's not use !

  • dog abuse pepol dont know about - look at my channel (for14+) very importent you will watch and (i hope) you will understand how to stop it !!!

  • Woah! My friend has two boxer dogs, the only tricks they can do is Sit lay and paw lol. :) Well done!

  • Was that dog somehow de-drooled? Because whenever there was food at stake my boxer always looked like he'd swallowed a tennis shoe...

  • I love dogs :) They're so intelligent. I love how you can easily tell when they're sad, happy etc. Dogs have wicked personalities...except for the chav dogs of the dog world lol.

My mate's got a boxer and she's gorgeous. Nicest dog ever!

  • that looks exactly like my boxer, did u teach these commands to ur dog urself, or did u have a trainer teach it? got any tips?

  • Yeah , you need to use treats to train them i.e to get him to speak on command when he barked of his own accord i would say speak, eventually he related the word speak with barking, when the dog barks when you ask him too, give him a treat and lots of praise in a high pitched voice, make alot of fuss of him so he knows he has done well. You need to keep at it with them though until they get it right. And dont get upset with them if they dont get it right as they can sense it.

  • maaaadnes ive got a boxer too and i could train him but we are the same we like to sleep and we only do stuff for food, nah they are great and hes my best friend!!

  • I love my boxer(Voltaire-age 2)more than anything, boxers and boxer owners are so nice natured! But 1. I don't ever think he'll have the intelligence to do the same tricks. And 2.If I tried to do the same tricks with food as a reward, I'd be scrubbing dribble off my furniture and walls up to 2 meters high. Who agrees?

  • I agree. My boxer is a HUGE drooler.

  • nice ass

  • thanks!

  • He's soo cute and big I think mine is a midget

  • Hes cute. Boxer dogs are the best!

  • Very nice, well trained :)

  • lol good dog

  • He reminds me of my Ruben. Infact he's the same colour and everything. I'm trying to save for a Boxer now. RIP Ruben 01.03.05

  • Lol - great job! Wanna come train my Boston Terrier? Nice to hear an Aussie accent on Youtube for once too!!

  • good tricks dude boxer dog's rule there the best :d

  • Nice, liked the tricks.
