Look at 7:35. One is shaped like a red heart! Was that just luck?

Those shells are specifically designed in heart patterns. The problem is to see the heart it has to break just right. This is why the best way to shoot a pattern shell is in flights of 4 or more then hope more than one or more break so the viewing audience can see them. There are many different pattern shells out there. I even saw one that looked like a Cat Face. You usually see these pattern shells in more expensive displays because the shells cost more than standard shells.

Thanks! Your video's are fascinating. I have a question. I see a lot of cakes that have paper over the tubes. Wouldn't the cakes work better if the paper/plastic wrap was removed that covers the tubes before firing them?

Wonderful fireworks, I remember a show I went to watch, I had nothign to do with it,just watching, it was by the water and the same happened,a boat came and parked right infront of us,light and shit on..later it moved out to the water again(it was a police boat) but sadly it had the lights on entire show=( You earlier said that you guess max size was 4".. look at 6,51.looks bigger than 4" I think.But on a show for2weeks ago,max cal was 4"and they look just as big so.. hard to tell what size. 5*
