aesthetically speaking, its one of the most beautiful animated movies i've seen outside of large budget disney type movies like the lion king etc. its also a good movie at the same time.

Just finished watching the movie at 1 in the morning!!! The story is amazing, just pure AMAZINGNESS!!!!! Never knew anime could be so great. I hope i see more films from this director.

looks a lot like sky crawlers, promises action and i get 2 hours of talking and talk of fighting, there's no real plot developement either till the last 30 mins, and the final battle takes 5

English dubbed version is not as great as i would expect it nonetheless a great movie, heart warming and will bring tears to your eyes to the very end.
