@flossyleech1 Russia would not have liberated france. if the US did not enter the war, Germany would have eventually made peace with England. Germany would have been unable to defeat England and England would have not been able to liberate france by itself. With no threat from the west, germany would have withdrawn most of its forces from france and moved to fight the russians. its possible germany could have stopped russia. Without the US, france and germany could be communist today.

Many of the Crusader knights truly thought Jesus was a wealthy land owner, or the sources I have seen have said so. Germany would have been unable to defeat England and England would have not been able to liberate france by itself. With no threat from the west, germany would have withdrawn most of its forces from france and moved to fight the russians. its possible germany could have stopped russia. Without the US, france and germany could be communist today.

@jims3666 The problem with americans is that we generally forge that if it were not for the french blockading the english from resupplying the british forces in the america's we would not be a country, we also forget that the Louisiana purchase was bought from France unconstitutionally, but we take no notice of that. dont insult the one country that is directly responsible for your granfather being able to save theirs.

There aren't enough good crusader films like this.
My only one reservation about this film is that they cast nancy-boy Orlando Bloom in the lead role. Bad choice Mr. Scott
