This hole in the ground is hanging. The "flush" sounds like someone with sick insides trying to crap into it! My kids hate squat toilets, too. First saw one in Piraeus, Greece and thought it was a shower base...and then..shock...horror. Best to remove your pants to avoid crapping on them!
