It was in the last couple of days that I found out Ray was a gay man. I know the turmoil this man must haved lived having lived it myself. You're right that the old testatment shows the social view at that time but it seems some "Christians" pick and choose what was social at that time and what to use to condemn people of today they don't agree with. I believe that the Bible is the Word of God which was written by man who took it from the Greek script. It was in the last couple of days that I found out Ray was a gay man. I know the turmoil this man must haved lived having lived it myself. Yes, and in Exodus 21-15 i5t states that anyone that stikes their mother or father should be put to death. If a child stikes their parent during a fit shoud we kill that child? Yes, read all the Bible and then tell me that we should do exactly word for word what it says. I believe that the Bible is the Word of God which was written by man who took it from the Greek script. All I am saying is that you said that some of what God says doesn't aply today like in Exodus 21.15 but you can't take the Bible ala cart, you either believe it all as the Word or God or you don't. If being gay is such a "going to Hell sin" why didn't Jesus mention it once in His time on earth and all that he preached. Show me where Jesus brought the subject up. @DaveS0035 You sound like an angry person. That is why people are confused. They pick and choose what they want from the bible to fit their selfish lifestyles. Ie, homosexuality is ok, abortions are fine. Its all good cause God loves us. Not so.! All scriptures taken in the proper context leads to the same conclusion. The wages of sin is death! Your angry at my response but I say what I say out of love. Homosexuality is a choice. God did not create people to a sinful lifestyle that he condems.

Its a mockery to the Word of the Almighty. Its not judging when you quote the Word of God. It is our duty to help others see their sinful ways just as others have helped us. After all the goal is for all to make it to heaven.

@spenegdt God bless you. A person who doesn't stand for something will fall for anything. We must tell the truth to set people free. And I know in my own life, truth hurts, but it saved me from death, and condemnation. @DaveS0035: we don't hate or judge you, but like Ezekiel says, we are watchmen. We see God's sword coming, and don't want to love people right into hell. I don't judge gays, the Bible does, and as creator, God alone has the right to determine right from wrong not you or me.

@spenegdt I am sure he knows what God's word tells us; you should not be so judgmental. You feel God's anointing in his singing as I feel you judgment against him. Our job is to pray not judge. My sister signed this song at my Grandpa's funeral, I miss him so much he taught me just about everything I know about Life, but it gives me the reality that I will get to see him when I go to heaven cuz I know he is there!!! I cant wait! Ive missed him so!

He made a list of sins which would contain GAY today. He left unforgiving. The publican acknowledged HIS SIN and he left forgiven. All people sin and God uses sinners to bless His Children and I have been blessed by a sinner named Ray Boltz. He is no worse then me or you in Gods sight. We are all saved by Grace not works
