Probably what I like most about this video is how simple it is. No fancy coloring/tones, no obnoxious flashing/effects; just good timing, a good choice of scenes, basic transitions, and a few flashes and fades to make the beat. Nice job C:

Great fades. Just listen to song. if the music slow, fades should be longer, if music's beats 'hard' - make them shorter ;} But I would recommend you to do fades only in slow parts, cause in fast beats, you have tu put many scenes and fade them and it will look like a mess. Just an opinion/recommend.

Erm. I think I know what you're talking about, but I'm not sure. XD I think what you pointed out was a flash. Some people use brightness/contrast for that, while others use the Fade Track To Color. I'm sure you can find all of that in tutorials on Youtube.
