  • I AM TERRIFIED WAAAAAAAAAAAAH

  • Sounds like an audio compilation of the most disturbing robot torture chambers. And I love it.

    Also, telephone at 4:30.

  • THese noises are otherworldly its so spacey

  • As stated in the description there is absolutely nothing plugged into the input of the device. The device actually just pops and clicks with no sound plugged into it due to the gain structure on the unit and the actual bit reduction programs. So just to clarify there is no sound being fed to the device at all and this is what it sounds like! And yes that is true if you actually plug something in you'll get a whole other world of sounds...this was just an experiment with no input fed to it!

  • I told R2-D2 not to take that PCP...

  • @clkorange LOL!!!

  • I can make such sounds with touching the solder joints of the amplifier part of my radio.

doesnt actually sound like a geiger counter to me.

  • ok, some atonal chirping and squeaking. go bend a circuit, I wanna hear a proper demo of this

  • It sounds like something is gloriously dying...I LOVE iT!!!!!!

  • description

  • This is awesome! Totally the kind of shit I'm into. Bizarro FTW!

  • wtf i thought it was a real geiger counter i feel like such an idiot -.-`

  • How does this video work?? No audio input?

  • Yeah, what the hell?

  • No, he's talking about no audio input into the WMD Gieger Counter.

  • That's what I mean.. so how's there any sound?

  • It can still pick up environmental disturbances. He could be tapping his finger on the audio input, since some electricity can be acquired from your body. Yeah, you're right. There is SOME audio input, but I think the author means no guitar, no keyboard, no bass guitar is inputed into the Gieger Counter.

  • the noises this thing makes are due to circuitry components used interfering with each other. If the machine is giving out two waves they can superposition or cancel each other out, it can oscillate itself in accordance with the wave giving a tweeting or arc-ing noise.

The fuzz factory does the same thing but with far fewer components and not quite as well.

  • @jamesstone123: you have no idea what you're talking about lol

  • @DemsFings it's the sound it makes to change the input sound you are making...so these are the noises that will change your input and blend it thru the output...this is just with the output so u can see what it does.

  • There plainly ALWAYS is an input signal. Every open high-impedance eletric input behaves to some extent like an aerial. This means it is sensitive to electric disturbances in the atmosphere which produce hiss and hum. As soon as the input is provided with a relatively low-impedance voltage source such as an electric guitar or an effects box output, the disturbance sensitivity vanishes. If you want to know why that is you need a deeper understanding of electronics ;)

  • in argentina we don't have that kind of pedals.

    I want to kill myself

  • I wouldn't go that far... ;)

  • I understand you but, it's an amazing pedal and here we don't have anything of that country or place like that.

    for me it's something uniq

    ;)

  • i ordered one :)

cant wait to get it in the next days

  • Even though they are expensive as hell, I bet that they hold their value as long as you take good care of it....Their so rare/odd

  • That's one expensive modem

  • Pure insanity. I mean WTF?

    I MUST HAVE ONE!!

  • Same here! $300 is so much cash though x.x

  • Its nothing compared with what this thing is capable of! Brilliant little machine - like having an atom bomb in a metal box. Insane & dangerous - beware....

  • can you bypass it and use just the distortion?

  • You should make one with Audio Input now that you have my attention.

  • you can run anything you want through it,watch the vid labeled "wmd gaiger counter" and there is a guy running a synth into it
