Good job. It will inevitably get worse. The commercial real estate collapse and the upcoming Alt-A/Option ARM recasts will cause the banking system to collapse again, but this time, the small banks will go under, not just the big boys. TARP/PPIP doesn't even address these complete loans that are on the balance sheets of these small banks too. This will no doubt form a negative feedback loop, in conjunction with the upcoming inflation shock, pushing us into a major, prolonged depression.
