Some of you should be ashamed of your ridiculous comments. Accidents happen period. How can you not feel sympathy for these people?? I feel horrible for them. Do you talk this much crap when someone at the beach gets bitten by a shark because they "knew" sharks live there? The animal was doing what comes natural and the people had crappy luck. Grow up and keep your nasty comments to yourself!
I think they are lucky, and, in a sense, deserve what they got... not that i like when bad things happen to people and i definitely don't think that just anyone deserves to be attacked by a croc, its that fact they made a stupid decision and put themselves into a potentially dangerous situation. Even if you think it looks safe, you shouldn't swim in waters that have the possibility of crocs and other dangerous animals being present... god truly blessed them.
When you are stupid enough to play in croc infested waters, you deserve whatever happens to you. These people were very lucky and they are not worthy of any sympathy whatsoever.
@rockit730 Do you also believe people who drive on busy highways and die in car crashes are stupid enough to have been driving in heavy traffic and deserve to get in an accident? Have some compassion for people, seriously... no one "deserves" something like this, whether they took the risk or not. Yes, it was not a great decision, but NO they did not deserve to be attacked.
@MusicontheBrain247 Don't be an idiot. People drive on busy highways because they have to. You know, that thing about getting to work, or going to the grocery store, or visiting relatives/friends/neighbors. You can't compare something we all MUST do in our daily lives of commuting with the imbeciles who play in croc infested waters. A few months ago there was a story about another idiot in Germany who jumped into a polar bear bin because he thought the bear looked "lonely". Stupid, stuid!!
@rockit730 First of all, I am not an idiot. Secondly, I was merely trying to point out that no one DESERVES to get hurt like this, bad decision or not. It was not an intelligent decision to swim in the waters, I completely acknowledge that, but you should never wish harm on others, that is a TERRIBLE thing to even think about!
@MusicontheBrain247 Please show exactly where I "wished harm on others." Go ahead. Point out the specific passage where I said anything remotely like "I wish harm on others." I said they deserved whatever happened to them. That is not the same as saying I wish a crocodile had eaten their asses up. As to you being an idiot, comparing someone VOLUNTARILY swimming in croc infested waters with someone who is REQUIRED to drive in heavy traffic is, for lack of better term, an idiotic comparison.
@MusicontheBrain247 you are so right. not a bright decision but no one deserves to be put through that torment. and they probably learned their lesson. if there is an idiot here, it's rockit730
I've been to a safari in Masai Mara, Kenya and it is very dangerous if your guide leader doesnt know what he's doing, you have to stay on the specific course/path. I remember our leader drove like 2 meters away from a lion pride for us to take a picture, but thinking back on it now, we are lucky they didn't attack!
@Lxoxx And South Africa was "conquered" by the Brits as a colony a loong time ago. Maybe that explains the accent. The sun never sets on the British empire....
Awesome! I've been hoping to see this one for a while!
:)
Just out of interest, is this the Cbs version? It sounds like parts of it are the Cbs version, while other parts either come from a Family Channel rerun or the syndicated version.
for those that think geography is boring, don't you think shatner should make a geography related video and show clips like this clip and give a geography lesson?
why wasn't this a season one story, i ask because this event was in 1986, not the late 90's like the 5th.6th,7th seasons were, and also do you have that segment where a boy on an atv gets injured in the year 1989, the segment had camera difficulties and moved to season 5?
@gregorkrause I do have that one, which was filmed during the second season. Maybe the producers didn't get the story about the croc attack until the 5th season.
these people were very lucky to have survived that, hopefully it taught them something
snatkina13 2 weeks ago
Why would you swim in there if you knew there was Crocodile's in it.?
JlsGooleGirls 4 weeks ago
What I don't understand:
-why this safari trip was being recorded
-how there are multiple camera men yet none are seen in any of the "attack" scenes
-why it shows a croc having hold of the kid's LEG, not arm 04:52
-how they were able to record the underwater attack, yet no camera man is seen and none of them help out
Answers anyone?

@karam3l000 This is not the real footage of the attack. Rescue 911 was a show that re-created true stories of emergencies

I WISH we got more calls like this. I'm sick of the gangland mentality that sends so many people to us, who sometimes end up dying from their wounds.
I've seen animals w/ higher morals.
