Ryan Swope is not a natural tailback. He is white and slow and has no moves. He just doesn't have the athleticism it takes to be a division 1 or NFL halfback. He should eat and bulk up until he is 300 lbs and play center or maybe try out as a kicker.

@asjs06 Swope is prolly the biggest playmaker on the Aggies team.. it seems every time he touches the ball he makes something happen. Cyrus is more mentally tough than christine, but christine is more physicall blessed than Cyrus.. having Swope as wide receiver is a perfect fit

Swope is going to be really good for A&M at WR and KR, but Christine Michael and Cyrus Gray were two of the best backs in the conference last year, and will be two of the best in the country next year. We need their power running and blocking out of the backfield.
I'm sure we'll continue doing a lot of things to get Swope the ball in space because he is a great playmaker.
have any of you seen the guys who play RB for A&M? they have the best 2 Rb combo in the Big 12. swope is good, but he's not that good. he has done well at WR and KR and seems to have no problems about playing there.

he runs a 4.4 on rivals it has him at a 4.41 a low 4.4. He's fast, did you watch him in that bowl game against georiga, he should be a RB but they switched him to WR I got some highlights of that bowl game on my channel, not that great video quality but you will see the speed.

According to the coaches, only blacks can play running back. Toby Gerhart must have been an albino or something. Swope should tell the coaches to play him at rb or he will transfer. It's time for these Germanic running backs to stand up for themselves.

dude i went to CP and we beat westlake at westlake first game of the year somehow, idk how we shut swope down but we did. hes a crazy athlete, my freshman year he dunked on us in basketball, hope he gets some playin time next year at A&M
I think I got Michael's highlights confused with another player. After watching them I think Swope might actually be more elusive (although the ESPN video wasn't the best quality). Michael has freakish power & great vision though. I hope A&M is smart enough to use both as tailbacks; and they way I diagrammed could get both those guys on field. Swope is a freak; one of the fastest H.S kids in all of Texas.
BigMel, I checked out Christine Michael and he might be a little, more elusive, but it's so close it's hard to tell. Overall Michael isn't much better; if at all than Swope. A&M could use both and have an amazing backfield. A downhill slasher with ridiculous power in Michael who runs a 4.45-4.5 could start & Swope, a powerful downhill slasher with low 4.3 (10.5x 100 meter) speed could be used like Myron Lucky at Nebraska, b/c he's a great pass catcher.
Bottom line: is it's the biased reaction of the fan's media and other RBs of why Swope probably is already out of the running for A&M stating tailback. It's the same situation of bias that affected the old black QB. Unfortunate and Un-PC to talk about, but true.
I sort of agree, b/c after watching Swope's highlights he has basically the same talent level as C. Michael; basically as elusive, but faster; runs a 10.5x in H.S; not quite as powerful, but a better pass catcher. But Michael is way more hyped by Rivals and such. BTW: Rivals Scout Jeremy Crabtree has said on a local T.V appearance in Texas that Rex Burkhead would probably be a top 50 player in the nation if he were a black RB. But I guess Crabtree lacks integrity to do anything about it.
He is so great, it is a shame he won't get playing time at running back or corner at least because he is white. good luck to you though i hope you prove me wrong.
