  • Its an obvious fact that this crew lacked a few thingsa power weight and speed answer big boy! It my not be as pretty or economical but its still good for something

  • I think that video was awesome!! Don't forget what a formidable force, snow can be!! 9 times out of ten, it's manageable, but, every once in a while, mother nature lets us know, she's the boss!!

  • Roll that coal!

  • 10 gallons per inch!

  • While you are buying that tripod, check out wind blast filters. Hang in there...

  • Interesting, to a point, But I've watched all 5 and do see the plow being unstuck. Perhaps its still there.

  • ah, man... i watched the video of it getting stuck and the other 4 of them working on it you missed them actually getting it unstuck

  • @acabtp I have never found a vid where they showed them pulling out those units from the snow. Sorry wish it was out there.

  • @danwat1234 Hey Man! I voted for you! I hope you win that car brotha

  • @jak2946 I guess that's just the difference between a person with better-than-average intelligence and a typical ignorant ass motherfucker making comments on YouTube. I'm tired of stupid ass people like you putting spam in my inbox. Fuck off cockslave.

  • Во замело. У нас тоже Метель хуже снегопада.

  • hehe next time TRY a Rotary

  • A força dos motores falam alto nessas horas... extressse total do maquinário!!

  • @thassius .. translated :: The force of the engines are loud at these times ... extressse total of machinery!

  • an 8' snow fence and removal of the berm on the other side and this never happens again :P

  • Snow - 1

Train(s) - 0 When all fails, Get moar (About 15) Back up about 4 miles, And FLOOOR IT!!!! Lol

  • @gibsonlespaul2 It's how things get done.

  • And what now ? 2 Miles Back and again with more Power into the Snow heap ?...Maybe then it succes...? Or get a Shovel...?! :)

  • Where's a rotary when you need one? :D

  • Get r done.

  • love it thanks...

  • Wow I can't believe it required so much to get them unstuck why couldn't they just reverse?

  • Steel wheels on steel track probably don't get all that much traction, and that blade was probably literally 'stuck' in the snow, snow is really heavy stuff when you get it packed like that.

  • they did try doing that but there was just 2 much snow on the blow

  • Don't forget when the train got stuck they tried going in more..so it made it no better.

  • Cool series.

  • Kyle R.R. knows how to "get er done" despite it being a short line.

  • where did this happen city and town? Its rural like it cool.

  • Make'm smoke fellers!

  • holy shit thats alot of snow

  • I'd have gone home and waited for spring.

  • wow all that diesel power and hard work ..... they should of just kept the UP 4-8-8-4 BIG BOY in operation, would of had it done in a flash.

  • wow such a crazy operation you had to go through. how long did it take to get that rig out and how much money did it cost to close that part of the track?

  • hehe it was closed already :)

  • Must have really stressed the engineer out gettin stuck. Glad to see it worked out good. Great video man.

  • Looks like he got through. Next time the wind blows, it will blow it shut again.

  • some heavy hitters to the rescue.

  • i think thats what the had to use in order to get more power ford power.....

  • Talk about Rollin Coal But thats what you get when there a 6 V-16's or V-20's workin Or they all could be POWERSTROKES!! lol

  • 4 16 cylinder locomotives and two 20 cylinder models. And nope, they're all General Motors Products.

  • CHARGE!

    Nice smoke show out there...

  • It's either plow the fucking line or go broke, pal.

  • How would you propose looking at the railroad track below a 10 foot snow drift? Fucking X-Ray decoder glasses out of the Cracker Jack box?

  • Somehow you think I'm a retard but I can manage to pull off basic spelling, capitalization and grammar correctly. Yeah, ok. Fuck you and everybody that looks like you.

  • I finished 3rd grade, and I finished every one of them after that, right up to the 12th. My dad, who is a school district superintendent, was proud of me. Now, you son of a whore, I'll run along, I have a train to ride, because I'm a freight train conductor. Stay off the tracks now, ya hear? Nothing can stop a train, except a 10 foot bank of snow, and you're not made out of frozen water so that pretty much narrows it down, fuckstick.

  • you get 5 stars just for standing in that damned wind

  • just get a bunch of prisoners and make them shovel for free!

  • ROFLOL at this comment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing how hard the wind was blowing there, smoke being shot across the sky!

I would have loved to have seen that in person!

  • that smoke would make alco's jealous! :P

they should've just backed up a mile, got up to 60, and let it rip

  • And derailed on contact?

  • at least they woulda gone down swinging?

  • wouldn't it be easier if the just backed up a few of those engines an used their power to pull out the stuck ones and then dug some of the snow away to make it easyer for it to come in a 2nd time?

  • They should always carry a digger in a special wagon maybe?

  • so how long did it take to eventually get them all out?

  • Fuck Me man! 10 extra locos to get three out EEK!

  • lol more power!

  • OMG Your Gay!

  • The escavator had to dig some of the snow out to help......

  • That drift was hundreds of feet long; how did they deal with the rest of it after getting unstuck? It's hard for me to tell whether that backhoe cleared the rest of the track, which if it did, must have taken a long time.

  • I belive that is what this last vid is about, clearing the rest of the track. With all six!!

  • this is the seceoul

    :D 5/5

  • what an action! huge!

  • SMOKE SHOW!!!

  • Cool videos man. I like seeing the SPs at work brings tear to my eye sense UP took over don't see em much on the road anymore west coast.

  • they make snow blower attachments for trains don't they? For clearing big avalanches

  • Yes they do but theyre expensive and take too much time. This may seem slow but in actuality its faster

  • Yes, You will see those more often in the mountains.

  • dam, thats a long process getting that train out.
