Very nice concept in planes! Looking forward to comfortable seats in Coach for once. American planes getting cheaper and less comfortable. They made better planes in the 1970's with the L-1011 Tristar. Hats off to the Russians!

Trust me, the Russians would be capable of tackling the 737NG by making such a wonderful beautiful aircraft. The tu-154 may be an old plane, along with the antonovs and ill's but they are all strong, powerful aircraft. I hope Russians will bring the same standards to this plane and prove to people that they are really great in making aircraft. I can't wait to see one landing in Manchester...

@RainfulPhenix Judging by the airlines that have ordered them, I don't we'll be seeing it at Manchester just yet :(. The people at Sukhoi should be more worried about the Embraer E-Jets and the new Bombardier C Series rather than the 737 or A320

Amazingly beautiful! But I have to ask the same question as seaboo143, will this plane have TVs? Being a regional aircraft making only short flights, it might not be appropiate for long movies (e.g. Titanic), but still, there are music videos (e.g. Katy Perry) news, weather forecast, etc. that can be enjoyed by passengers.

This aircraft is so to say perfect, the russians were not too proud to incorporate the best from around the world. Boeing is well involved in this project as far as I am aware, thus a combination of russian unbeatable airframe, and foreign value adds. This is the answer, point to point smaller loads. Personally the A380 concept is not for me, enough airport waiting as it is, imagine arriving in a A380, 800 people in the immigration line..a nightmare.
