through our history ,Iran was always ruled by various tribes, azeri, Kurd, pars khorasan ,etc. i wonder why none ever considered separation of the states or regions? now all of us suffering under the same regime and we talk about autonomy,independence, statehood and so on. it seems like we are not really enjoying the performance , its a great symphony , yet i don't see a single kurdish musician . nazeri has great talent yet he does not perform only in Kurdish. The Kurds in Turkey and Iraq have been faced with extermination and have been denied proper education for centuries, while the opposite is true of Iranian Kurds. This has left a difference in them that is very obvious; Iranian Kurds tend to have done more for Kurdish culture (as it’s apparent in this video), also they aren’t as aggressive as Iraqi Kurds, again it’s not their fault, just circumstance. It’s not an insult, just an observation.

Kurdistan is a province in Iran. Shahram Nazeri is from this province and he is VERY POPULAR among Kurds and Persian (Iranians in general). I have a lot of good Kurd friends and they are very welcoming.

Shahram Nazeri was also one of the students of the greatest Iranian maestro Mohammad Reza Shajarian.

I like Shahram's highly spiritual music and also I like him because he sings poems of Mawlana Jalaladdin Rumi, and Hafiz and so on.. I would be very happy if I could understand farsi. By the way it made me so much laugh during the explanations found in the video. This is because almost every sentences uploaders mentions that Shahram is a Kurd lol :)) OK OK we got that he is Kurdish and know that I as being a muslim Turk have no problem with peaceful Kurdish brothers.
