I was wondering what your opinion on the final Burke novel was. I discussed my opinion with Mr Vachss and he gave me his feedback as to what the goal was, but I am wondering what you think?
This is now over two years ago so my memory is a little vague. I remember devouring the book, reading it twice within a period of about 36 hours. I also remember being energised, wanting to spread the word about Vachss, to create these three videos.
As set in "Another Life", Burke was old, he would be at least 60, possibly more like 70, the world of information & technology and policing have changed so much that the ability of he and his family to live under the
As set in "Another Life" Burke was at least 60, maybe even 70. He and his family needed a retirement plan, one final big score. Vachss successfully created and portrayed a score that would enable that retirement, gave us tour through some of Burke's memories and protected an innocent.
However I was a little disappointed that Burke and family ultimately chose to trust the government something they had never done before.
