I was feeling very alone a couple months ago and I felt like Jesus left me. But while I was looking around youtube for a good song to listen to I saw this song. I had been praying and praying and PRAYING for God to show me a sign if he still loved me and that He was still here with me even though I have deliberatly diobeyed and turned from Him many times. i fisrt this song off of a video from summer camp. ever since then i have loved this song. in '07 my lil brother died from cancer and in '09 my uncle was killed. every since those things happened, i have been a beliver even more then ever and i still am. i'm going to summer camp on july 3rd and its a christan summer camp and i will be there for a week. and the people there will help me learn more and more about jesus christ and god more then ever before..... or so i hope

@bornjust2003 I need to apologize for this. I realize that many churches segregate themselves because they feel that they are more righteous than other humans. However, this is incorrect. The law and the gospel are for the unrighteous not the righteous. For a Christian to say that he is righteous means that he is saying he does not require the law, the gospel, and ultimately God and Jesus. We can only be righteous through Christ and His sacrifice made possible only by God's mercy. 1Tim 1:8-11.
@bornjust2003 To add to my last comment, people are made righteous through Christ, the only righteous, sinless man to live. While humans can do righteous or "good" works and deeds, they are meaningless unless we do them for God's glory. This is why Christ was righteous, He loved and cared for others all to give God, His father, the glory He deserves. I know for a fact, however, that there are churches who don't segregate, they accept anyone who walks in the doors as they are, believer or not.
@TheIRONMANPRO of course he's still alive, he went to heaven and resides there to this day. We wait for him, and prepare peoples hearts for the day when he returns because none of us Christians (or at least me......) don't want to see anyone burn in hell...I want everyone to be happy.

He resides in the Kingdom of Heaven where Christians/Catholics etc. believe is our home after death. When He was crucified in His days, His body was resurrected and He ascended into Heaven shortly afterwards. He also lives in every human's heart, even Hindus and Muslims, etc., and he loves us all equally with an unimaginable love!

when i hear amazing songs like this... it makes me cry... only because of past experiences. The lord works a wonder in daily life. This song is a song of how he worked on someone else's life. And how he is working in each and everyone else's lives.

The big bang or evolution doesn't disprove anything except that the earth is much older than people believed based on the generations of humans mentioned in the Bible. However, The "father" of the big bang theory was a Catholic priest and scientist. Modern Science itself was born in European Christendom. i'm not one for faith for me i've always been one to do and act and not really worry abot wht happen.... but lately i come across a few thing tht make me 2nd guess wht and why im here.. then i come across a song like this and other just as good and u start to wounder wht faith is and how some one can belive in it so much. you start looking at the world from another point of view and think maybe there is something far stronger and better out there

This is not about graven images being put up for worship, this is a meassage of grace - that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. and He did this through the purest of motives, love. If you carry out your logic, then the Muslims are correct in destorying all religious icons, for they're are abhorant to God.

This is my favorite Third Day song, it is so beautiful and has such a deep message. I'm so happy to think that we can hear this song and be thankful for all God has done for us, He even gave up His Son because of our sins. Third day is a christian band an they are writing about Jesus loving us before there was even time though we turn away he still has always loved us. If you even look at the pictures, you can tell the guy with the big beard carrying a cross is probably Jesus, obviously. anyway now you know the true meaning of this song, Later!!!

First of all please learn to spell, thank you. To answer your question, it's because we believe what we believe. You have your own opinion and we have ours. Also, even if God doesn't exist then what do we lose? We live a life doing good things and trying to be humble. We make new friends and we feel like we always having God to depend on and we hope for the best and stay positive. So we lose nothing in believing that God saved us. Plus you don't have to be obsessed with creation to be Christian.

Sure certain things in religions are twisted but most preach loving your fellow men and women. Blame the people who are too busy trying to tie the world down by citing religious texts when it benefits them. However, The "father" of the big bang theory was a Catholic priest and scientist. Modern Science itself was born in European Christendom.
