An old friend was a next-door neighbor of Ms Travers for a while in Greenwich CT. Claims she and her daughters used to sing for fun, and she'd get to hear them every now and again.

I can't remember anything else I've been as jealous of.

Even at 72, taken too soon... but we were blessed to have her while we did, and her legacy should be eternal.

@smartalek1 I found out years later,I lived at the same address she lived years before in the Greenwich,and I was surprised of that coincidence too,since so many others of her life and Pete Seeger that came to cross mine.Something in the air perhaps still catching on me that made me end up there and not at other nicer places in town?What I remember the most was a sort of peace there,not always so mind you.It must be true,that:'We are all connected'.
