This is so very beautiful...I am a hugh fan of "Somewhere In Time" and a member of INSITE. INSITE's President Jo Adie is the reason that we can enjoy the film as it was originally made in 1980. The pain that she went through to get it digitally remastered...OMG...She worked so very hard for Chris & Jane and for all of us so that it would look the way it does today...Your video was very moving and touching and I enjoyed it very much. @suemig1942 - Mr. Richard Matheson played a cameo role in the movie....he was the gentleman exiting the elevator wearing a white bread. But, the priority here is this deep loving sound, the soft piano notes being touched so perfectly.....I can close my eyes and let the music flow into my mind and heart. I have loved this movie and the soundtrack from day one. I drove to MacKinaw Island in the dead of winter just to see the Grand Hotel, playing the tape over and over again. Be blessed!

Seymour's accent makes her character cold and detached, the book Elise to me felt much more cuddly and sweet although haunted.

The book also had a slightly darker undertone in that the threat that the main character could get sucked back into the future at any time was explored more than once in the book, it helped to create an underlying feeling of melancholy uneasiness.
