SELA KAVA KIOA traveled to Tonga with her two grandmothers, Nunia Ongoongotau & Ane Hogan to compete in the Jr. Tau'olunga competition that took place on July 20, 2010 where she placed 1st in the Miss Tau'olunga Pre-Teen category. She danced to a beautiful song composed by the late Sofele Kakala called "Kolo Kakala", The langitu'a is a band from Lapaha named Faonelua. The choreographer is a gifted & talented young woman, known in Tonga for her tau'olunga, Mrs. Seini Kivalu Kaufusi. Ofa atu!
