wait though... you are currently using electricity to force the air into the chemical solution, so unless that electricity comes from a clean source then you are still causing more CO2 into the air from the power plant. And if it was coming from a clean source then there is no CO2 being made anyway.. hmm...

didn't you just say that you were running it through sodium hydroxide? I am confused. None the less, good luck with it. Looks like a good idea.
