  • Are you a happy girl?... Are you free with your body?... so show your f.king t...s!

In case you guys haven't noticed, the sound does not correspond to that event. The original sound was better...

  • I lol at all these nu metal bands

  • @XxsamoilarxX Nu metal was a lot more fun than what replaced it.

  • omg this band is so fucking good!!!

  • girl looks 14

  • This was Ozzfest 2000, by the way. Not 2001.

  • Taproot had a pit that was out of this world that year.

  • @jcannion

Wouldn't surprise me, Taproot was tearing up when Gift came out. They went a little soft but the new album reminds me of Gift alot.

  • @jlcochran About time they went back to their old stuff. They went soft for a long while. Haven't heard the new record, but I know they are on Victory Records now.

  • @jcannion The new album is actually really good. Reminds me of their old shit. Sounds a lot more Nu-metal (thank god)

  • @VampKip That's cool. I'm actually one of the few people that missed the Nu Metal scene. Metalcore & Emo put an end to it. Actually many oldschool Nu Metal bands are down with Victory Records now. Otep, ILL Nino, & Taproot.

  • @jcannion I didn't really miss it, I was just too young to go to any concerts, since I was born in 94. The first album I ever owned was Significant Other (my dad got it for me when it came out lol). So I was raised on all nu metal shit. I can't stand metalcore, it all sounds the same now. Breakdown after breakdown -.- It gets old fast.

  • @VampKip Yeah, I used to go to Nu Metal shows all the time. I was in my 20's when Nu Metal was hot. Nu Metal & Metalcore are both the same in that, both started out as something new & different. But when it gets to the point where Corporate America steps in, and dilutes the scene with crappy bands, it just gets old. In 2002, when Nu Metal became mainstream, it was a little painful to listen to at that point. Metal & Deathcore has reached that point now as well.

  • @jcannion I would kill to go back to the hay day of Nu Metal at my age now so I could've seen all the bands I listen to that have now broken up (Coal Chamber, Twisted method, Primer 55, etc)

  • @VampKip Man, I remember seeing Primmer 55 & Puya opening up for Fear Factory in 2001. Twisted Method played Ozzfest in 2003 & I also saw them when they & Motograter opened up for Kittie that year. My favorite new metal band was Dry Kill Logic. They never made it big, but opened up for some good bands.

  • @jcannion lucky motherfucker lol

  • @jcannion Didn't DKL do that song, Nightmare? I like that one. Fuck, the 90s treated me just right.

  • @Sesquipedaliantique Nightmare... yeap. Dry Kill Logic was the shit.

  • @jlcochran Taproot is touring again. I'm going to check them out in February. Can't wait. Last time I saw them live was in 2005 with Chevelle.

  • @jcannion Going to see them Feb. 2nd in Charlotte.

  • @jlcochran Good shit. I'll be at the Philly show. Go in the pit and pretend you're at Ozzfest in 2000. lol I'm waiting for the classics! Mirrors Reflection, and Smile!

  • Good shit here.

  • To Yev300. Inches from the Mainline is the name of this album. You can find it on amazon. Great Band Great Song

  • God does somebody have these guy's album? :o Can't find it anywhere!

  • chick looked hot right until she showed her tits and then i was like holy fucking tan lines.

  • remember when pits were like this....

  • Look at the huge guy at 1:06. Holy shit!

  • New album is under recording they are in the studio!

  • I remember this. This is apart of that lawsuit deal w/ Ozzfest & Direct TV. Direct TV managed to aquire some footage of Ozzfest and charged for it as an exclusive

PPV. Bands on the PPV were: Ozzy, Pantera, Methods of Mayham, Godsmack, StaticX, Kittie, Disturbed, Soulfly, and (last but not least) Slaves on Dope. When Sharon found out about this she wasn't all too kind about it and had it pulled immediately. I noticed some Ozzfest 00' footage on youtube is from that program.
