He used to have the Stradivarius "Soil"... one of the best violins made ever. This violin is a heritage from Yehudi Menuhin but I'm not sure.  The sound is amazing.

Itzhak Perlman is a very special virtuoso, on a level with Jascha Heifetz in my opinion. Fantastic. Compare these samples to a more average 'virtuoso' like Vanessa Mae playing Bach's partita 3 and you really start to appreciate the raw talent. Thanks for sharing OnlyClassicalMusic :D
