I think Kobe Bryant is an awesome player. But he does not stand head and shoulders above his peers like Mike did. Jordan created moves, never seen shots, perfected the tear drop, reverse side layups etc.. the list goes on and on. Even people who werent' Bulls fans waited to see what he would do next! I feel such nostalgia when I see that commercial!!! : ) ...and I'm a girl!!!!

People don't talk about it much, but MJ was also a great defender. His work ethic was second to none. He once punched Bill Cartwright in the mouth and slapped Steve Kerr for not giving 100% during practice.

How annoying is it that we can't accept that there will never be another Jordan- NOBODY will EVER be able to score at will from any part of the floor AND be the best defender in the game AND make everyone around him refuse defeat ( honestly, how many average players played out of their minds good with him?). I remember people thinking Harold Minor, Grant Hill, Vince Carter, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James etc... were all at one time the next Jordan. Comparisons to someone like him are ALL ridiculous.

I remember being 8-9 years old trying to imitate Jordan's moves. It didn't work too well lol but that is what Jordan brought to the game.
