People should know this, it is called SHISHAN not CHECHEN, "shishan" means in adyge language "horse behavior" that is the name of the dance because the dancers run like horses.
ppl think this is chechens dance because they confuse shishan with the chechen word, and it is wrong!!!
why is everyone being so offensive? i think the dancers themselves are technically good, just maybe the choreography could be different..anyway, well done !
one more thing, we all share the same blood.our common goal is to maintain our cultural heritage and pass in on to later generations.we can't do that without unity.making distinctions between adiga, chechen ingush etc etc is what breaks us..let's not forget that

But my point is that in the present world order, where nobody knows us, we should concentrate on more important issues, instead of fighting amongst ourselves by making these distinctions!!!!!! please don't forget that the lack of unity is what drove us away from our homeland!! you say it yourself, we weren't able to do it in the past. so let us not make the same mistake now...

@Sawserok Chechens and Circassians both pre date Georgians in the Caucasas. Georgians did not come to the Caucasas till 1st millinenum BC.
Georgians built over the lands of the Caucasas peoples who pre dated them and stole those peoples historys and dances.
Circassians/Chechen/Dagestani decents have been in the Caucasas for as tribal people for 100,000 yrs BC and shows signs of human activity there since 300,000+ bc

ya sure our music differs, but ur dance is SLOW some how and the chechen is FAST so there is a BIG difference, i dont mean accusing u but atlast were all caucassians and ofcourse we must have things to share between.. and XABZA every1 knows to dance their own cultural dance better than any1 else :)
about SLOW dances, the adigas unfortanatly focus on "qafa" too much, in order to show nobilty than strenth, it does not mean we dont got fast dances, you want to show strenth?, who lasted more against the russians? chechens or adygas?
