The bullet impacts should sound about the same, and they should all sound louder than the muzzle report. This means shooting at your feet like that won't get you any sense of which can is more quiet, it just waists ammo.
I can't speak for these guys, but I've shot them all and the Osprey and Tirant sound very similar with the Evo being significantly louder--to the point of you should be wearing ear plugs.
