my father had one named scooter and when my husband met him he instantly knew which breed he wanted, so I am (secretly) prepping to get him one for christmas.The only problem is he's a disbaled vet and can't work, so he's at home most of the time.....I have to find a way to sneak it into the house without him knowing :D

@Tinyoak2 This is the best thing you can do for your hubby and puppy. Aussies are velcro dogs and can be couch potatoes as well as working stock dogs as long as they're with their "person." Best breed on the planet.

I lost my 12-year old soulmate last March. The Lord just made me two more. Laughter, hilarity, energy, and enthusiasm will return to my home shortly. Best wishes on your pup!

my family had an australian shepherd named molly, she had three puppies, she died shortly after along with one of her puppies. after that i got an australian shepherd of my own, and i decided to name her molly, she is an amazing guard dog and one day she may just save my life, they also make great search dogs,they were used to search for servivors in 911. my dog looks just like the one in 1:15.

SOO SUß!!! They are great dogs, smarter than Einstein! I wish I had one to add to my family! The dogs I've had are: 5 Rottweilers, 2 Jack Russels, 3 King Charles Cavilers, 2 German Shepperds and1 Mastif(biggest..... dog.... ever!). Hab' eine guten Tag/Nacht!

I'm so sorry about your loss, but you will see Sidney again! I have shown and bred Collies {rough} for years, each one of them was very hard to lose, each one was as precious as another, in their own way. Now I have one 14 year old "Tina" left. Sydney has the most beautiful eyes! They are all amazing aussies!!! I have 2 Aussies Comet, and Fancy. My sister in law fell so in love with Comet, as did our son that I helped them both to bring home Aussies to love. I couldn't imagine having a different dog breed. They truly are my heart. Thank our Lord for the pets on our lives and bring us joy and happiness.Every good and perfect gift comes from above.The big gifts and the little ones and the furry ones.At my age I can recall many past pets from childhood to adulthood.They make you smile.We should always appreciate the simple pleasures of life-like you dog jumping on your lap for some love even when hes a big dog!!! Dogs are so beautiful.  I had a Maltese and he was like my baby! The thing I loved best was, he missed me even when I went outside to check the mail! The way he greeted me when I walked back in the door, you'd think I'd been away for hours rather than minutes!! Your doggie is so cute!

They are beautiful dogs. I know someone who has five but two are half Aussie. The father of all the pure bloods had to be put to sleep, he was riddled with cancer. Everyone wept. But his daughter Spec looks just like him and has taken it upon herself to be the new guard in her daddy's place.

If you ever get a chance to see one of these dogs please go see it...you will want to take it home with you.The puppies are amazingly cute and furry! The pictures say alot about there perky active alert personality.They are affordable if you call a local breeder..but not a pet store.

In Bible College years and years ago a street dog went thru my crawl space under the hose I was renting and had a large litter of puppies.One was pure white and I KEEP IT AS MY DOG and named him 'MOOSE'.He was a great,great dog.Lost him 2 times and got him back by the grace of God.I fed him 'bolo' dog food 18 cents a can! LOL. That all I COULD AFFORD IN THOSE SINGLE DAYS! When I WENT TO THE MISSION FIELD I HAD TO GIVE HIM AWAY AND SAY GOOD-BYE TO A LOYAL FRIEND.I cried ! That was 1986!

Real pretty blue eyes! I have had pets in the past, but don't have any now. Nowhere to keep them. I'm not sure I could get another pet again. I get too attached to them and when they die, I get extremely depressed for several weeks or months. I still cry sometimes about the pets I had as a kid that died.
