  • I noticed since drinking green smoothies..cravings for junk food..soda etc have disappeared!

Gersom therapy book is good too! It sounds like you were detoxing...it makes you have a "health crisis" before you feel better.. Dan the "Liferegenerator" is available to talk to...He does a good job!

  • @cr3062 Live Dan the Man. I'm glad to hear you are doing so well on your healthy diet! Thank you so much for watching. :)

  • @cr3062 I love green smoothies and try to start each day with a big 32 ounce one. :) I'm so glad you are enjoying the wonderful benefits as well. Dan is great! :) Thanks for your thoughtful comments and for watching. :)

  • Detoxing can make you grumpy sometimes! Went gluten free recently and what a difference..no puffiness! feel great..I also started juicing in December...I'm not 100% raw yet..but moving that way..check out Dan the "liferegenerator" on youtube...!!! He's very knowledgable !!! and awesome in his delivery!

  • You have gluten intolerance and a leaky gut. The absesses were a response to gluten either in your food or in the supplements. Happens to me from time to time when I get into it on accident. Raw foodists inadvertently go gluten free and then invariably feel sick going back to cooked food. This is why.

  • @Cypressmyst I have suspected both but have been unable to confirm either. I think I will stop eating gluten for a few months because I have eczema on my arms. Thanks for your thoughtful comments and for watching.

  • @thrivesurvive Going off it really is the best test anyway. Your body knows. ;) Thanks for making this vid for folks and I truly wish you the best of luck in recovering your health to the fullest. :)

  • @Cypressmyst Thank you so much! :)

  • I thought this was for cancer, but if you could help me out by telling me some of the gerson recipes in a message or something that'd be really nice of you. I have friends who have cancer and im trying to find out as much as i can. thank you either way, good video.

  • @DeLaCruz420 Thanks so much for watching. Go to gerson dot org for lots of info and resources. My juicer broke so I never followed up on juicing, but when i juice I don't use recipes, I just make it out of whatever I have and what tastes good together. Be sure to include lots of greens. You can get the recipe book on amazon. There are many gerson books available now. They all say just about the same thing. There is also a documentary about it. I watched it free online.

  • sounds like a severe healing reaction. Probably needed to ease into it slower.

  • Watch the movie Forks Over Knives, it will tell you how to get B12 from vegan diets. Aloe Vera has plenty of it, not to mention all sorts of seeds, especially sunflower seeds. Every body is deficient in something, you have to find out where you are deficient (simple blood test) and then you know where to start. :)

  • @Twinscorpiomom Thank you very much for your thoughtful suggestion. I didn't realize aloe had b12. I will look into it and watch the film soon. :)

  • hehe pin it on the cooked food :D

Why would you do a strictly raw diet when it's clearly deficient -- e.g. having to take B12 shots every once in a while.

  • @TheRazor5 Most meat eaters are b12 deficient as well. Dude, at least I am trying to figure out what's wrong so I can fix it and improve. It has nothing to do with blame. It's the scientific process.

  • Be sure to check with your doctor as to the form of Vitamin B12 they are giving you. The typical form, CyanoCobalamin (Cyanide) can be toxic and lead to terrible end results. It is very dangerous when you have a diet rich in Cyanogenic foods. You want either Hydroxy or Methyl form of Cobalmin when getting injections. I have done a video about this. I wish you well.

  • @liquidvitaminman I had no idea. Thank you for letting me know. I checked and I have Cyanocobalam. I will look into it. I appreciate the tip. :)

  • ..but I do need to reconnect with it because I was so happy eating raw. my emotions were so much more in check. if you have any books, or movies or websites that you recommend... please send my way. I really need to get back. :) thanks. and good luck to you. oh and PS... I am dying to add juicing into my diet as well. just need to get the funds for a juicer, but still loving my green smoothies. its about the only thing I stay consistant with daily. gotta have my smoothie. :)

  • @thefitnessgirl9 I have an omaga (2000?) juicer that works very well. but if you have a blender, you can make do. Just blend your fruit and veggies with water and strain through a nut mylk bag. :) It's fast and cheap. }:)

  • omg. I am going thru the same thing. I started eating cooked foods again a few months ago b/c it was easier to & felt like I had everything under control & saidto myself that I would just go back to it after a few weeks. but its been over a month & my eating is getting worse, my cravings and binging is creeping back. I need to get back to eating raw & getting back to the fundamentals... as you said. I feel so lazy about it and feel like its so much work for me right now. ....

  • @thefitnessgirl9 Probably time to start reading the books or whatever convinced you to eat raw in the first place. That's what I am having to do. Good luck and thanks for watching. :)

  • @thrivesurvive - yeah.. there was just so much. but I guess its time to roll up my sleaves and dive back in. :)

  • Here's a quote from Marcus Rothkranz. Google it.

"My father got aggressive prostate cancer in his mid 70's and totally got rid of it in two months by doing 4 enemas a day and consuming nothing but fresh organic vegie and fruit juices. (no solid food) and some herbs. He got exercise, fresh air, sunlight and flushed his body so clean, it could function again."

  • @eatmoreraw Thanks!

  • You might be interested in the book "Supplements Exposed" by Dr. Brian Clement (his most recent book). He talks about the difference between synthetic supplements and whole food supplements. Having been on raw food and cleaned yourself so thoroughly you might have reacted so quickly to the synthetic supplements. Personally I use a few key whole food supplements (extracts of food) and herbal supplements which I've never had a problem with.

  • @SecretsOfLongevity You MIGHT do fine with the dragon herbs supplements but the other one's which were synthetic may have been the problem (just my thoughts).

  • @SecretsOfLongevity I was thinking the same thing. It's hard to tell what's what in supplements and I have probably been ingesting some fake ones. I will continue to take chlorella and organic iron, and probably sublingual b12, but the rest are dubious. Thank you for the book recommendation. :)

  • @thrivesurvive No problem, best of luck with your new ventures :) Yay for juice!

  • @thrivesurvive

i saw Gerson speak at the 1st or 2nd annual HEALTH SHOW at the disney contemporary resort hotel - he IS IN MY MIND and a source of healing i may use, when the dead food catches up to me?... i wish i was a raw fooder

your reactions can be DETOX, if you CLEANSE AND PURIFY THYSELF (a book i used to full effect!) you may detox too quick!, and with this you can have a lactic acid build up and maybe the kind of reactions you had, during detox you acidify and you need to watch PH...

  • @glorp896 Thanks so much! If you want to be a raw fooder, just eat more raw food and you will get there. :)

  • Acne could be from the gelatin, if it was made from pigs.

Beans and other legumes can be allergenic and inflammatory.

How do you prepare the beans?

Soaking for 24 hours and discarding the soaking water may be really important to get rid of the anti nutrients.

An allergic reaction to something in the beans can cause mood swings and irritability.

For cooked calories, sweet potatoes may be more easy to digest.

Have you tried the protein powder yet?

  • I'm right there with you! This whole process is a journey... even certain raw food combos can be "triggers" for me. I just stay open to new ideas and keep experimenting... and workinging through all the old emotional crap... that's the most challenging! :-)

  • @FoodFogGal :) Thanks for watching

  • after a long while of being in control i been struggling a lot recently over the last 2 3 weeks with keeping my cravings and emotions in check.. i've also noticed a few other people are struggling a bit or on a path back to mostly raw... who knows really but i think its significant that many are struggling... we can do it!

  • @vitalvegan Hang in there. It's worth it. :)
