its annoying that the only tourneys are in japan and america and they make a european competitionor sumin. I mean if they really wanna find the WORLDS BEST then they should include the entire world
Why is it that anytime there's an "official" Pokemon tournament, its always double battle, always without standard rules, and half the time people use complete novelty (like in-game) Pokemon?! I just don't understand why. It should be metagame, at least. Anyway, this is why I don't play tournaments like this. I'm not saying the players are n00bs, but still. I'm guessing (or betting, and the odds are in my favor) that nothing is bred, or has good IVs, or EV trained, too.
they are, but differntly from normal. the people who win these tourneys train for that metagame, not our metagame. and it just so happens that japan uses that metagame, so they ended up doing good
Alright. But imagine I join a tourney like this, bring a full IV bred and EV trained team, specifically made for doubles even. In my opinion, that would rip through this tournament and they wouldn't know what hit them. Thats all I really imagine.
you guys are acting like tthe vgs metagame doesn't involve eving and iv breeding thats completely wrong the doubles metagame is far more complicated then singles i would love to see some of u guys try to beat the best of the vgs metagame
YOU were the pokemon trainer videogamer? my god that was absolutly awfull. how did you even get that far? i was at this too, didn't battle, but my brother did, lost to the second place guy (senior division)
Actually, I was there right next to him during the battle (If you listen to the video, you hear someone yell "Yo Miguel, Jimmy's battling" followed by "He's right next to him"), and the only reason the battle was even a close one was because Jimmy assumed Lucario had fakeout (Which I explained later that he didn't), and didnt want to risk his ludicolo being faked out as well. Obviously a decision generated from his nervousness. His team was actually well thought out-- his first match was shaky.
Also, you said your brother lost to the second place guy? Would he happen to have gone by the name of Wolf? If so, let him know this is Bear-- and I'm waiting for that rematch on Battle Revolution. :D

Well awful got me to top 16 without using pokesav or the staple bronzong and togekiss trickroom-follow me strategy that everyone else used... if thats really awful, I hope I do awful in my next tourney, just liek I have been doing in all my past ones XD ...if youre gonna be judgmental be sure you know what youre talking about ;)

well, i suppose he read the instruction manuel and when they said the thing along the lines of 'it is recommended for you to choose the trainer of your own gender' ..well, chose teh girl. but lulz, ill ask...n.n; ill see what 'excuse' he comes up with xD
