I don't need to 'grow up' or to listen more either, thank you. The fact that The Clash covered 'a lot more ground musically', is why I don't like most of their material. They sold out, and most of their later stuff isn't remotely punk - they sounded more like a reggae band... and I am not a great fan of that particular music.

I like this one, but equating musical ability to selling out implies that the buzzcocks could have sold-out and done other stuff, and no one really believes that.
