@shadyndre The G18 has the full-atuo capability, but both guns are great. Depends on your style and preference, I personally love the full-auto function.. it's fun and all but when you want to shoot semi only, that full-auto switch is staring deep into your soul to switch it to full-auto.

G19 is more compact btw.

@shootcentermass Actually, the glock uses a browning style short recoil system where the barrel is locked together with the slide so that most of the powder load will be used rather than escape from the breech. thway it works is, after it is fired the barrel and slide, while locked together, move back about three millimeters, then a cam catches a hook on the bottom of the barrel, tilting it deown, unlocking it from the slide, and catching it allowing the slide to finish the rest of the cycle
