302's are great friggin engines. Your an idiot. You probably don't know shit about engines. And most people that have an engine that looks like that and sounds like that usually put a bunch of money in it.
and again, 302's are lame. and it also depends on who manufactured the engine. they break down alot and you would basically have to buy a brand new one for it to run reliably. and as for putting a bunch of money into it, its not even 20 dollars. maybe 15 for the little plastic silver intake. then the battery re-locate was free. it sounds like that stock without the air restrictors. you should have seen how many of those i took out haha its rediculous.

You must have only experienced the 302's of shitty owners. A well maintained 302 will last for a long time. With a little work they can go from 5.slow to 5.woah. Also, there aren't any "restrictors" on ZX2's. There are silencers though: only 2 of them. One is directly under the filter (the big one), and one is up closer to the TB (the small one, just a little white plastic piece that comes out of the intake tube). You're trying to make it sound like there are like 10 in there.
@lesserofthetwo 302's are not lame at all i have had a few 5.0 mustangs and a ranger and a few f150's with them in them and they are great motors. and my STOCK 5.0 mustang will eat your lil HALF a REAL motor alive and then shit it back out dead.
@lesserofthetwo saying a 302 is lame is just ridiculous, they have always been great engines. very reliable and very fun. I've got one with 195K miles on it and it still runs just as smooth as the day it came out of the factory. All that has been done to it was new spark plugs and wires....
