I bought a SwingBo in 1984 or 1985 in Italy, they produced it in Germany and it was one of the first successful attempts that led to snowboarding... it was expensive and pretty unstable due to the dual moving levels (skis / board), now it can be found only used or on eBay since it was discontinued yrs ago, it works better on powder than regular slopes and not too steep otherwise becomes pretty uncontrollable...
I have rode things like this, it is heavy and a knee twister. It increases the inherent danger of snowboarding x10.

Yeah I tightened all the screws and bolts on mine. Do you have any history on this thing?

How is the balancing on this thing?

On mine there is some movement between the deck and the ski's. Not sure if this is due to normal wear-and-tear over the years or if this is normal.
This makes the balance a little bit tricky.
Next time I want sturdier shoes (now snowboots, want (stiff) softboots.

Let us know how it went. This was also my first time on the Swingbo.
