i connected everything and the radio is working correctly but when i put the cd or usb there is no sound but the display shows what songs they are and all. I dont get it

is there a usb port in the back of the stereo device? i have this radio, and i recently heard and read that there is...i wanna doubble check b4 i go and remove so i can use the port

Yes, the USB is in the back, with a native cord.

Sound quality is excellent, no doubt.

Bad is the folder navigation in a pendrive; Quick-Browzer just does not do it, marketing only...

Cara, muito legal seu video e, claro o rádio hehehe. Tb comprei um, só não estou sabendo usar direito o QuickBrowzer. No manual diz que dá pra buscar por album, artista, etc. Dá pra fazer isso com um pendrive plugado no USB? Quando eu clico no botão do List, aparece só as pastas... E como tenho mais do que 128 pastas no pen drive, o restante não aparece... Será que é assim mesmo? Valeu!

Usando o Quick-Browzer numa pen, também vou ter sempre às pastas que estão na raíz da pen. Também estou para descobrir pesquisa por Artista e Album.

Nota: Pendrives USB podem ter máx. 128 pastas; máx. 500 ficheiros por pasta; máx. 65535 ficheiros.

Hey guy i´m writing from Venezuela... listen, Sony Xplod it´s great, only watch carefully what do you really need, beacause there are many different options, think if you´ll need an amplifier for a subwoofer or for your speakers, take a good choice... i´m sure you will enjoy that system (sorry ´cause my english is not the best) Good luck...

Still working like ever, perfectly. About Sony brand, i guess it's a bit like Microsoft, a giant, on sale everywhere... We naturally tend to denigrate those who are being dominant. This head has great settings manual adjustable to individual preferences; of course it lacks other things, like better color display, bluetooth, dvd player and so. For automatic sound settings there's Imprint Alpine and others alike, but not cheap...

Hey thanks. I also forgot to ask. I hear that these head units heat up a lot???? I also hear that they don't have a loudness and bass control???

Mine doesn't heat up. When i remove the faceplate the behind it's not heat

(not likely with 4V tension out and Mosfet transistors).

Not loudness, but DM+. It lacks a pause button in the head; it has on the remote, funny, but you can press "off" on the head.

They do have much more than simple bass control.

Nice deck. I have the cdx-gt630ui. The sony sound is great
