Hey I'm a fan of sonic but I'm sick of the sonic and mario rivalry abd prefer sparkster a bit more and wish he'd finally get the attention he deserves, I didn't suggest you dislike all other.

This music does make you feel like flying on space, literally. This game has such an amazing soundtrack.

I just discovered this game about a week ago. Brilliant game, brilliant soundtrack! Had a lot of fun and a hard time beating it without save-states. Also when i first saw Axel with the giant laser cannon i was exactly like WHAT THE FU-! *Boom*. I seriously died there.

@snaiperis99 lmao. I think just about everyone's died there on first play through. Glad you got to experience this game. It's sequel, Sparkster, is also really good. Whether your play the SNES or Genesis version of it is up to you.

This was probably the best stage music in the game. Or, the music coupled with the stage itself was the best experience.

I managed to get as far as this stage in "very hard" difficulty. I was really worried about how I was going to deal with the boss, but that issue never presented itself: a couple errant asteroids wiped me out.

god playing this hard up until this stage is nearly impossible!!!!i always die when axel gear appears with that gun and the swarm of pigs doesnt make it any easier.and im not even fighting the ship boss yet.this is where it gets hard as Hell!!!

Seriously one of the best tracks in videogame history. I used to keep my cartridge in sound test mode in the options menu so I could listen to this and the music to 5-1 repeatedly. Kudos sir for posting it up.

This game and the Toejam & Earl games had the best music on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. This is probably my favorite song on the game. Tough level too. That would be awesome if Sparkster (the character you play as) became a character in the next Super Smash Bros. game! XD But that'll never happen... lol

Most of this GAME was a nightmare, but what can I say? This game was a typical Konami game: A challenging level of difficulty, stellar gameplay that encouraged you to try and try again, replayable for years to come without losing much of its novelty, and brilliant music.

The graphics in this game weren't terribly exciting for 16-bit systems, but they even nailed that down in Sparkster.
